Makashi - elegant, powerful, and requiring extreme precision

Soresu - Utilizing motions occurring very close to the body to achieve near-total protection

Ataru - extensive use of acrobatic maneuvers often thought physically impossible without the aid of the Force

Shien / Djem So - techniques in which the lightsaber was used to deflect a blaster bolt directly back at the firer, deliberately to cause harm to the opponent

Shien is holding the lightsaber horizontally. Adi Gallia used this form.

Form X: Niman / Jar'Kai
Jar'Kai is a lightsaber form weilding two lightsabers. Asajj Ventress used this form.

Tr�kata
This lightsaber form is where the weilder of the lightsaber holds the lightsaber inactivated and strikes/ignites when a opening in the enemy's defense appears. Corran Horn used this form against the Yuuzhan Vong

Telekinetic lightsaber combat
Pretty much self-explainatory. Kreia displayed use of this form by levitating three lightsabers.

Going back to the second post . . . Yoda DOES become a student of Qui-Gon. He says so on the Tantive IV at the end of Revenge of the Sith.

Or, crap, maybe it's in the book and got cut from the movie. But it's there somewhere.

As doing so learns to "become one with the force."
