But i have 2 9800gt's that'll be running simultaneously. And surely both together are more powerful than even one 9800GTx, right?
I purchased "Crysis" last night so i can't wait to test it out.
I also got "SW: Empire at War" and "Command and Conquer Generals". But I read that "Generals" isn't playable on Vista. Which blows hard. Very hard. But i also read something about dual booting my system so that i can have xp and vista on my system and can change in between them when i need to.
But these are the games i plan on getting (overtime or via demo) for my new xps system just so i can play 'em again this time all on high res. Classic games. Games i liked alot that i played alot that when i did raise the setting always chopped on me, or crashed, or slowed down to a snails pace. It kicked my ass, it was frustrating as hell. No it's time for me to kick ass. I hope this machine devours these games up for breakfast..

It came out on September 12, 2008 according to wiki.
Crysis, to my suprise will also be a trilogy. And that the expansion pack sn't pt.2, at all. but more unique than an expansion pack cause it offers more that the traditional packs.
"While Crysis was previously announced to be a trilogy, Crysis Warhead is not the second chapter in that trilogy; it is instead billed as a stand-alone expansion pack, although its amount of included content exceeds what most typical expansion packs offer.
- Wikipedia -
The developers have also claimed that due to further optimizations of CryEngine2, Crysis Warhead performs better than the original Crysis.[5][6] In their review, IGN confirmed that Crysis Warhead looks graphically better and runs better than the original Crysis.[7]
Crysis Warhead retails at less than normal games' RRP though the game's feature set is close to those featured in full-priced games.[8]
EA recently announced that the game's minimum requirements are nearly identical to the minimum requirements of the original Crysis (except for the HDD capacity, which is now 15 GB)."
Instead of 14GB's. Hm. That's the first time i've heard of an expanion pack being bigger than the regular game.
Jeez and 14gb, that's the most i've evern heard for any game. I usually play games that are at most 5 gigs.

I meant 15 Gb's are nothing now because hard drive is dirt cheap. Hardware space for games are only going to increase with higher resolution textures and lazy developers.
Also, I dont know what your game says, but according to my program profile of the game, its only around 5 Gb.
That's strange because I definitely have only 5.3 Gbs installed for Crysis Warhead unless its lying to me, then again, I dont have Crysis Wars installed also.
Anyways, it doesn't matter, 15 gbs is nothing nowadays. I got 500 gig HD for 90 bucks.
After you wrote this i looked at my order and knew something was wrong. I could’ve sworn I ordered the rig with a good sound card.
So I called them about it and they said it shipped out, if I’d like I could return it, and have it rebuild into the system, I said no way. They didn’t mistakenly charge me extra so I just thought I’d just buy one and install it myself. And that’s what I did (or will do).
Earlier today I purchased a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro sound card from newegg.
All I wanted was a card with an optical output so that I can connect it to my home theatre system receiver. And the Elite pro was the only PCI card there was for X-fi since I cannot get the PCI Express cards, which are the better cards, because it won’t fit in the computer because I have 2 graphic cards in SLI and I think one of the g. cards takes up one of the slots the PCI Express would’ve used. O well. I’d rather have 2 graphics card and a great sound card, than a kick ass sound card and one graphic card.
Thing is, the Elite Pro happens to be, I think, a top of the line sound card, thus costing a pretty penny. But it should be well worth it.
From what I read, it’s suppose to sound better than what an xbox 360 offers in sound. (better be. It costs just about as much as one) Like you can hear enemies creep from afar, that the card unleashes (extra) sounds you would never hear with regular cards. It delivers crystal clear sound and deep lows for those explosions. And it also takes the burden of my Pentium processor since the card has it’s own processor, making my games run better.
Man I can’t wait to fire it all up. Especially C&C:G and Crysis..
I wanna hear what sounds I’ve missed from my list of games I’ve mentioned earlier, that I’m gonna get.

So I finally got my pc and I gotta say I love it..alot. (still waiting for my sound card)
Played “C&C generals”, the latest “Total War” war, “SW empire at war” with everything on all high and it was a breeze. I broke night on Friday playing and tooling with “Crysis”.
I put it on “very high” settings and it did play and it looked great except for one problem. It had a low refresh rate. I don’t know if my tv’s the problem or if it’s my video cards. But it was disappointing to say the least. But I still feel hopeful. My new sound card will take some burden of my intel and “Crysis:Warhead” looks just as good or better and requires the same or less, than required for “Crysis”. So I’ll see if that works.
I also purchased “COD2”, “Doom3”, “Battlefield2”, “Medal of honor: Allied Assault” and “Half life 2” from amazon and it’s been shipped so I can’t wait or those games to come this week..
I also wanted to try to increase or decrease the megahertz on my tv and my pc but I’m gonna seek pro advice for that to see if it’s ok if I should do it and how.. I also wanna find out more about “overclocking” the intel processor and video cards or ram, not to clear which one it is but I heard doing that can really boost game performance.
As far as the game, I liked it. It reminds me “COD4” and “far cry” mixed together. It’s not anything I haven’t played before but it has cool stuff. Love the suit. The physics are great to. It has some of the best rag doll physics I’ve seen in video games. The motion capture on nps and fellow soldiers looked superb. The AI’s good too.
From my personal first impression, and after playing with it for hours, so far I give the game an 8/10.

It's normal. There are tweaks and alterations that you can download that can improve performance. Also, if you are playing on Vista, play in DX9 mode, it will improve performance without dropping visual quality that much.
Part two is out, and has been for a few weeks now, no? I beat the first one, but haven't yet gotten part 2. A friend has it, so I'll grab it when I get a chance.
