AOA didnt have Gambit as a Horseman.
God, why does everyone think that?! The AOA Horsemen are Sinister, abyss, Holocaust and Mikahil. The current Horsemen in the X-men series are Gambit, Polaris, Sunfire and Gazer.
I know what you mean. Phoenix pretty much destroyed Alcatraz. Did anyone go back in and get Juggernaut? What happened to Pyro after Bobby headbutted him?It does leave you wandering whether they were just demolecurised along with everyone else.
As for Magneto, I think that would be a yes. Curing Magneto would be a pretty ballsey thing for them to do, and they clearly don't have the balls to go through with it.
You assume that Angel did not join the X-Men and that his father accepted him due to him saving his life.
Considering as Xavier was preaching to the X-Kids about how it was unethical to do what he did, I doubt he'd have the guts to show his face back there!
My guess is that Scott is definately dead. If he isn't, where the hell is he? He wasn't at Alkali Lake, and we did see the beginning of the demolecurisation.
As for Leech, the X-Men welcome everyone with open arms. The school is there for mutants to be safe. They're not there purely to learn how to use their powers.
As for Nightcrawler, apparently you find out what happened to him in the game, but I really think there ought to have been something explaining why he wasn't there.
And I read somewhere that they never introduced Gambit as his powers were too similar to Cyclops and his personality too similar to Wolverine.

We all know in the movie Xavier gets killed by evil Jean. However do you remember near the beginning where he shows the class the video of Dr Moria Mataggart with the man who is brain dead and is basically a healthy but empty body??? Well in that scene at the beginning Charles says he could use his powers to put another persons mind into that unused, brain dead body, but he was worried about the ethics of doing it...............However........
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: after the credits there is a clip of Moria checking up on this brain dead man. whilst she is looking at the monitor, the man wakes up and says (In Xavier's voice) "Hello Moria" Moria looks at him and says "Charles??????"
The Cure, for sure, is temporary. Humans will never get successful with it. Humans will remain humans, animals will remain animals, mutants will remain mutants. So Rogue and Mystique will regain their powers back.
Rogue will meet Gambit. They will be romantically involved with each other. She'll kiss him only to discover her powers back... and absorbed every thing in Remy.
Cyclops
Scott did not die. It would be nonsense if he died. So how could he be alive? I am thinking that somebody might have had rescued him. Jean was kissing Scott yet Storm and Logan came only to see the unconscious Jean. So why was she unconscious? I was thinking there was a fight between her and "somebody". Couldn't this be Madelyne Prior? or Emma Frost? or the Hellfire Club? And this triggered Jean to become ferocious Phoenix.
The movie version for the Hellfire Club would consist of Mastermind, Maddie, Emma, and Shinobi. They keep Cyclops. They would want to get into X-Men for some reasons... probably Gambit (the Hellfire Club and the Thieves Guild for that matter, can be possible too).
Mystique
Mystique will regain her powers back and reform the Brotherhood knowing that Magneto apparently lost his powers. She'll be the team's newest leader.
Magneto
Magneto didn't lose his powers. He wasn't even injected with the Cure. Well, what can Magneto ever do with a metallic needle? And, hey... Magneto loves surprises. He always surprises the X-Men, he can do that to us - the fans.
Professor X
Professor X, while controlled by the Phoenix, exclaimed, "Jean, let me in!" That's it. Charles travelled into Jean Grey's mind. They met there. They wandered elsewhere. The Phoenix Force is controlling her body but Jean can nevertheless overcome her. She can redirect Charles' body away from the Phoenix at a blink of the eye.... so we haven't noticed it. How about the thing or the "body" that blew up? it wasn't Charles' body, it was just his clothes.
Jean Grey
Did Jean Grey die? Yes and No. Yes, her replica as used by the Phoenix Force died as killed by Logan. No, the original Jean Grey is still there inside a healing cocoon underneath the Bay ... alive.
Did anyone here really see the jean grey ending?where her coffin was empty. I've heard so much about it and now others have heard about it as well. I just want to know if anyone has seen it yet?

I don't really think it would have mattered about bringing Gambit in concerning his similarities in power with Cyclops since [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Cyclops is gone for the majority of the movie anyway. Not completely sure if he died though. Depends on if they would do a X4 and let somebody else play Cyclops since Marsden has left for Superman
