It's not that it is unplayable every 1461 days, they were refering to the ApocalyPS3, the Feb 28th bug. In theory it should be unplayable, but only if the bug happens again... in 4 years
4*365 = 1460 + 1 = 1461

-also how alot of the cutscenes fail at explaining things and going into a menu just to read up on things
-Takes too long for the story to come together

That review can shove itself up its own ass. No seriously, how could it have sat down through a 3 disc game when it's barely even out yet? I smell fail at its finest...
FFXII? Yes. Heard it sucks...and XIII is supposedly...worse now?
I'm pretty sure some reviewers get the game early.
"Final Fantasy XIII shoves a handful of protagonists in your face that look like they were designed at a cosplay convention and asks you to care about them simply because they’re wearing a beanie, have a cool nickname or speak with a mysterious Australian accent".
Hehe, I found that one to be funny.

Also from that review that i watched they also mentioned
-there is no towns its done from the thing that go to save the game
-you only get to play as one person and can't switch between the other members and if one character dies its game over
-Characters never level up only their weapons do
i firmly beleive that a game is more than the sum of their parts. judging by the sum of the parts ff12 was a succes, good graphics, good voice acting, interesting new age vs system etc etc. but sumwhere along the line, the magic was lost. i dont think final fantasy games shud have active battle where it seems more like an action game then the classical wait/strike. i dont think they shud have realistic character models, i think the classical over the top fantasy models wer much better. the old wait/guage fighting system was more classical and epic not the least because it allowed HUGE looking attacks/spells and that the camera angle for each strike/attack made it look more epic. the real time battle just seem more random/with little purpose and make u feel like ur in an open ended sandbox, which is NOT the purpose of a final fantasy game. and the stories shudnt be political and impersonal, they shud be extremely personal and character/ego driven and ridiculously insensible in their scope.
