Can ignore it and did ignore it.
What other people think didn't affect how I enjoyed the game in the slightest.
Though that's possibly a revolutionary concept in here.
Good for you.
It did ruin it for me. Not to the point I wouldn't play the game, because that would be taking it to extreme levels.

Why do you keep insisting that as if it's a fact? It's not a fact, because it doesn't apply to everyone and isn't inherently true. The game suffered no cheapness to me because I don't die a lot. You obviously do, that's due to your style of playing.
Meaning you don't have to start from miles away if you done a lot of work, but similarly, you're normally short on ammo, so even the work you have left can be harder.
The tension was damaged to you and others, not to me. Stop acting as if the tension is factually lacking in this game.

I haven't said once that it "factually cheapened" the game. I understand that for you and a select few other players, the tension wasn't dampened. I also understand that for the majority of players, it was. And finally, I understand that all of it is based off of preference and opinions.
If you can't tell fact from opinion, and need to constantly hear "in my opinion" to know what's an opinion, I suppose that's your problem, not mine.

Regarding the earlier topic of killing Big Daddies...you can actually do it very easily.
By hypnotizing the Big Daddy and having him attack the enemy it benefits you in the end. Big Daddies lose life and all you have to do is finish the job. Using that tactic helps you get more dollars.

WTF?
No.
I felt the challenge was decreased because I wouldn't have to bother about dying, but I still completed the game and I still loved it.

Why did you not decline to use the Vita Chambers?

If they are genuinely going to milk it without any kind of attempt at pushing forward, it sucks.
We'll see, though. No evidence of anything, yet.

Yeah, I dont know if Irrational Games will do the sequel, or that Take Two will give the sequel to another developer similiarly to like Far Cry 2.

Started playing this yesterday (finally)...sheesh...cannot play for more than a half hour-45 minutes at a time.
I am having fun hacking everything I come across, though.

Yeah, the hacking is pretty fun.
Near the end though, it does get tedious, but I think it gives you an option just to pay for it.

New patch and DLC arrived today. New plasmids, including one called Sonic Boom that will knock enemies back.
The patch fixed some problem with widescreen, the difference is pretty nice.
Also they added an option to turn off Vita Chambers. This is also part of a new achievement they added called "Brass Balls" witch requires you to beat the game on hard without using any Vita Chambers.

Well somewhat tough. The game does get easier later on.

I heard an exciting rumor that PS3 would be getting Bioshock.
Any comments on this unsubstantiated rumor?

Possible.
But don't get your hopes up.
You said in another thread that you'll be getting a 360 soon, just get Bioshock on that when you get it.

I wonder how much money MS paid for it.
