No no, you misunderstood. I was speaking for everybody.

Hmmm apparently in the Tarkin Novel Palpatine has made the Jedi Temple into his palace. Also the Jedi Temple was built on top of an Ancient Sith shrine. Unbeknownst to the Jedi the shrine was still active and powerful, which is why the Jedi's vision was clouded. This also explains why the Jedi Temple is not only a LS nexus but just a force nexus.
It speaks a lot to the ineptitude of the Jedi that they couldn't detect a dark side nexus under their feet.
Just one more example of how the EU is stupid.

The Sith shrine was present prior to the construction of the temple, some 5 thousand years before ROTS. The Jedi believed they'd "successfully neutralized and capped" in the inherent power of the shrine before they built the temple but were quite mistaken. Sidious has the shrine excavated after he appropriates the temple for his palace.
It's dumb in that you'd think at least a few of ten thousand Jedi across five thousand years would detect dark side energy radiating from the floor.
Luceno should stick to politics and leave the Force shit to Stover.
I'm confused...wasn't the Jedi Temple built upon a mountain that's a LS nexus. Is the Sith Shrine under the mountain? When would they have even built it?
That's Legends. Remember, this is canon. Whole different animal; the Story Group and its authors are at liberty to disregard previous factoids like that.

Interesting. This means that at some point the Sith occupied Coruscant. Perhaps it was approx. 1,000 years BBY when the Sith invaded. Or far older than that.
At what goddamn point did the sith occupy coruscant?

The text says that Sidious is the first and only person to enter the shrine in more than 5 thousand years. So whenever this happened, it was before then.
Remember, nu!canon is pretty much disregarding whatever Legends lore it dislikes wholesale. Sidious says in ROTS that the Sith ruled the galaxy at least once before him, so it was presumably then.
I thought Sidious said "first time in 1,000" years. Anyways, this retcon is just plain stupid. At no point was it even possible for the sith to rule Coruscant. This is why I don't care much about star wars anymore, it's a joke.
