i know you guys probably dont have the answers to these questions but just gonna ask anyways.. i thought jean was the phoenix? if so, then how can she not have control over it? not even as the white phoenix of the crown? or is the white phoenix the one that has the MOST control over the PF?
also the cover with emma holding the baby in her diamond form.. is this implying that emma knew about the cuckoo's all along? as her own children? it has kinda been hinted though.. "it's alright scott, these are my girls. the cuckoo's" and there is the fact that emma favors them above the rest of her students and she trys to protect them so much too. Even going as far as mentally manipulate scott into attacking logan. As well there was always the "special connection" that the cuckoo's shared with miss frost. hmm.. now that you think about it its been hinted for a while now =\

I think her secondary mutation was always there just triggered by Cassandra Nova. Just like how Xavier's telekinesis was triggered by Nova when she possessed his body. Emma also seems to have latent telekinesis which explains the Cuckoos telekinesis.
But yeah they're all going to die at the end of this arc...and it's suppose to have a major impact on New X-Men.

huh? so does this mean there's going to be another phoenix XXXsong? i have to say emma looks quite unproportioned in that page. anyway so what does this mean? is emma going to seek her vengeance in jean grey? sigh i have no idea how this is "essential to understanding the phoenix" as it was supposed to be apparently.

I don't think it's Jean Grey I think it's the Phoenix Force itself...poor Emma though she doesn't stand a chance.
At least we now know why she couldn't contain the Phoenix in Endsong...it wasn't because she was a weak telepath it was because she lacked inner strength character wise unlike Jean Grey and Celeste.
Ok so....at the begining of the story Emma hates Jean because of past transgressions ....now the pheonix....or was it Jean?......are'nt they the same? well they were'nt ...then they were.....now they'r not?.....anyway yeah....at the end of this story we have Emma Hating the Jean/Pheonix being even more and for good reason.......
Did I miss something or was this to help with the pheonix Mythos in some way? We lost Morissons stand out new creations for this?

very dissapointing this warsong is,i dont believe we lost morrisons creations,the three are still alive(they just have diamond hearts now with fractions of the phoenix yeesh)
not that i care about them or morrison(i stay away from all his work bleh) but this whole story was just a way to bring in the phoenix's name and use it for popularity
i know its comics but how does your heart being diamond mean you cant feel anything

To be honest I never saw that coming...but there's going to be a round #2...so we'll just have to wait and see..
