Has pressure points worked on Thor yes by Mantis, but Thanos no Gamora tried it and Thanos was faking the affects on him and Gamora calle d Thanos on it and she knew her pressure point didn't work.

I do believe it's been established that Thanos is strong enough to beat Marvel's top dogs without much trouble. So strength is debatable. But I'm yet to see someone make a decent argument on how Thanos is supposed to deal with Supes superior speed. "He tags Surfer" and "Supes gets hit by slow bricks in comix" is a pretty weak argument when it comes to PIS free forum vs fight.

Thanos can react to fast moving objects, Thanos did had his physical abilities amp by Death. Thanos was reacted to Thor hammer and stopping it in mid-flight, tagging the Fallen One who was trying to speed blitz him, tagging a Silver Surfer. Having speed and reflexes doesn't guarantee you a victory, it takes more than that which Thanos has!!

Well tbf all that is also true for Spider-man and he'd get speedblitzed by Supes in a forum fight.

Now back on topic, Forum versions are Ooc and personality plays a large part of a "powerset"

Those things were not going as fast as Superman can move in a forum fight.
Thor doesn't generally throw his hammer very fast. Street levelers have dodged a hammer throw out believe. Firelord and Mangog has even swatted it away.

Fallen one is FTL at top speed, but almost everyone is. We judge speed on how fast a character can be in an instant. He was obviously speeding up when Thanos stopped him. We don't know what actual speed he actually reached when Thanos stopped him.

Next, those objects were much further away from Thanos than Superman would be in a h2h fight. Superman being more than 5x closer is equivalent to him being more than 5x faster than those objects (assuming that all move at the same speed). So those feats for Thanos are meaningless here.

Finally, the problem is not only Superman's speed, but his perception. He would view Thanos almost frozen in time. Using any sort of rational thinking, it is near impossible for Thanos to even land a blow. Superman would literally purposely have to have Thanos hit him.

Anyway, Thanos loses because of the speed deficit.

"Your speed rivals my own".

What a load of bs, can't be Zoom. We've seen Zoom blitzing Superdouche and making him shit his pants in front of Pr and other leaguers...

True.

Seems to be Thawne, though I always get confused between them. Not sure if it's canon, that's all.

(please log in to view the image)

Superman seems to 'easily' counter his speed with a counter cyclone of his own.

Prob poor writing...

Vastly greater speed is the most unfair advantage to have. It is exactly like stopping time (or almost halting it). To be competitive, no character should fight another that is more than 5x slower. If that's the case then the faster should be capped at 3x the speed as the slower. That way we get some great debates. Otherwise, it's a non debate.

I'm not saying you are wrong but please prove that Gamoras pressure points were fake.
