Here's a piece that I did for my Studio Arts class last year. The red border isn't perfectly straight because the pic was on a weird angle when I took a photo of it^-^

These are excellent drawings, I notice you use special pencils to shade them (with oil I presume)? I still only use mechanical pencils to this day, my teachers hated it in my very short duration in AIA, they wouldn't allow it. How long does it usually take you on a work?
Nope, no special pencils..I usually draw with 2B's, but I use heavier pencils depending on how dark I want the shading.
Hmm...depends really. The first drawing I posted in this thread took a while because it was for my Studio Arts class, so I had to complete it over a couple of weeks.

Um..yeah, guess it just really depends on how dark you want the shading could be on anything. I posted a pic in here titled 'Linna.' I used at least a 6B for that, because I needed heavy shading.
