how is it sentry/void? does it show his eyes black? unless he has been void this whole time on DA...which seems possible and explains y he is so messed up in the head
he wasnt even trying against namor and still kicked his ass

he did shrug off namor's attacks and toss namor around......but namor was fine when he flew away, standing and everything......even after all that punishment.....if he was the void, i'd say that was a great showing for namor.
it never really says if it was the void or not and sentry wasnt trying so its not that great of a showing...and the only time u see namor that i kno of after the fight with an image of him that was to small to even tell if he was damaged or not....he was standing tho ill give him that

He doesn't even know what's going on. If that's the power of Sentry unleashed, frankly I'm disappointed.
Impressive?
If he is in the league of Thor and Silver Surfer that ain't impressive.
Sentry fans should be glad Thor didn't show up in World War Hulk. Apparently in the original draft, after Green Scar beats Iron Man and Skrull Black Bolt, Thor shows up. They have an earth shattering brawl. Somehow Korg gets his hands on Mjolnir and lifts it. Thor then leaves because their cause is noble. Sentry flies in, and Green Scar reached at a level of strength with Thor, he one shots him etc.
Still I'll cut Sentry some slack. I liked him from his first mini. His power set fluctuates with his emotional state, and at a point of his fight with Green Scar he had the advantage/momentum, and that dude was high end top tier in strength when pissed. Give him props for that. I will also admit that Sentry has shown power that would put him above Top Tier at occasions.
Honestly the entire premise of Sentry just ****s him over. His supposedly stronger, more powerful than anything we've ever seen from the Earth Bound heroes, nigh unlimited source of energy, unlimited psychic potential etc. Shit it seemed like he warped reality when his power was used to make everyone forget about his existence in the mini. He was portrayed as the ultimate hero. There is really no conceivable way to write Sentry on a regular basis at those levels. The original mini was never intended to be in continuity as I recall, which is one of the reasons it worked so well most likely. There isn't any way that shit is going to fly in the mainstream world from a hero.
Because according to Emma, when she talked to Reynolds, the Void was in control when he was fighting Namor was it not? That's why when Emma let Reynolds take control, he flew away with the Void chasing him.
This entire time, the Void has been gaining more and more control over Sentry.
How was he not trying? Obviously he was putting in a lot of effort. He even goes "GAAH" as he catches one of Namor's punches, and Namor got far from an ass kicking. We just see Sentry attack him more times. He had the advantage and momentum, but Namor was still standing tall at the end of it. Good showing for the Avenging Son.
I remember a while back, when Sentry appeared with the grown beard in New Avengers etc. People thought it was an amnesiac Thor come back from the Void. Bendis himself said that he liked the idea and too bad he hadn't thought of it. That would have been a fun twist.

first I don't think there is anyone, even from the die hard fanboys that believes that "the power of amillion suns" it's an actual measure of his power.
second we don't really know if he unleashed his whole poer in this scan
and finally. Buddy, it's arespect thread let's not turn it in a debate one. we can have this conversation somewhere else
Aliases: Bob Reynolds, The Void
First Appearance: The Sentry Vol. 1 #1 (2000)
Basic Powers: The Sentry is one of the most powerful superhumans in the world, if not the universe. His physical strength rivals that of The Hulk, and his phase-shifted molecules allow for many other abilities, including flight, super-speed, and energy projection. Sentry's alter-ego, The Void, possesses vast psychic powers that are perhaps even more impressive.
Did You Know: When the original Sentry mini-series debuted, Stan Lee and Wizard Magazine participated in a marketing hoax that claimed The Sentry was originally a creation of Lee's that pre-dated the Fantastic Four.
Dark Reign So Far: The Sentry has often struggled to find his place in the world since returning to the spotlight. It was Iron Man who inducted Sentry into the Avengers and helped him come to grips with his growing insanity. Now Norman Osborn is in charge, and he knows a thing or two about insanity.
Osborn has befriended Sentry under the guise of trying to help him, but naturally his motives are more sinister. Osborn has worked to convince Sentry that his alter-ego, The Void, doesn't actually exist. But when Osborn needs his targets terminated with extreme prejudice, he isn't above unleashing The Void for a guaranteed victory.
Now Sentry is more conflicted than ever. He can't trust anyone around him. Even his wife attempted to murder him. Though Sentry is quite possibly the most powerful being on Earth, he lacks the presence of mind to put that strength to its best use.
The Future of The Sentry
With Brian Michael Bendis
On the state of the Sentry:
"Sentry is the most polarizing character, that I can think of, in the Marvel Universe. People love him, or they f**king hate him, or they love to hate him… or they just hate him. He is a Superman character, almost a DC Universe character, in the middle of the Marvel Universe. No one knows if he's alive or dead or a god or a being of light or darkness. All of these questions will be answered in Siege and the surrounding tie-ins. But that storyline will come to a climax. We're going to turn all of our Sentry cards over." http://comics.ign.com/articles/104/1040899p3.html

didnt uatu say that the infection could not be stop...which means sentry can not be stop...cuz he was the only one left...he could only be contained for a time
Thats far from a light construct lol. Have you ever see Quasar? Its simply a blast, or he flew threw his head. It looks more like a blast though than a construct.
Thors first fight with Enchanteers radiates the power of million suns through his hammer.
Sentry has yet to radiate one sun.
Thor has saved earth like what once a week in each comics?
Senrty??
Thor stronger etc etc etc. Not trying to down Sentry or anything, but look at the feats. Yes Sentry is new but its not like they haven't been giving him feats. I don't hate him or anything, but this is Thor he fights people like Mangog, Absorbingman(I know Sentry fought) Destroy Fafnir and Thanos. Sentry can't handle those threats no offense.
Dark Avengers 11: Molecule Man says Sentry's molecules are unlike anything he has experienced and he added he has experienced every molecule of the universe. (sorry I don't have a scanner)
More crap again....just hype from Marvel. Sentry has proven to be a complete flop compared to Thor. Thor has feats to back him up again and again... Sentry lacks good feats...hes busy looking good while holding a car with one hand....
His opinion is correct....he just doesnt buy in speculation or hype unlike some others who do buy into it. Anyways....sorry for off topic.
