I agree Thor has proved his worth in battle far better than Ares could, but the Void of Siege #3 hasn't been fully unleashed. The Void, by now masquerading as the Sentry, had been escalating in power and ferocity since the Siege started. At first he only takes out Asgard's observatory and sinks Balder to the ground before apparently leaving him alone to bug someone else, later he rips Ares in half and when prompted to it takes all of Asgard down. Now Osborn made it clear the leash is off and the Void has fully transformed, which started to happen in mid-fight with Thor.
In his New Avengers story and his miniseries, the Void was similarly becoming stronger as he manifested and focused more.
But all that aside, has anybody thought this thread should be revamped into a shorter one after Siege ends?
Sentry on cosmic cube level? He's far from that. Thor is way more powerful than Sentry(From facts as Sentry done nuke like stuff Thor done the million sons on the enchanters.) He no where near the cosmic cube thing or Marvel would do him like they do every other uber hero or villain put him away for several months to years than bring him out. Thor didn't bring the fight to Sentry. I'm not saying if Thor was in tip top shape he do any better but he had already been beaten down by every one else. If he was in tip top shape it would have been the battle we had all been waiting for. Much like Gladiator vs Supreme. I'm not dissing Sentry by the way but cosmic cube level type threat? We all saw how scared they got of Absorbing man with it and he's not crazy I atleast think one person would worry about Sentry if hehad that type of power.
^ Most definitely. All of Sentry's feats could probably be compressed into 3-4 pages max - this thread is 54 pages long. That equates to a whole lot of scan-burying riff raff.

Suddenly gains new power and catches him off guard. Yeah thats cosmic level threat right there right? So when Juggernaut knocked down we can put him at Galactus level even though he caught him off guard. Quasar put an rouge Watcher on his knees one that needed the power of Stranger to knock kill it so he should be around Galactus level to right? One feats says it all right? I also remember she hulk knocking him out but does that mean she lifts in far access of 100 tons?
NO!
Notice he's been beating just about every one the ways others have but he did it in like one comic. Thor use to get beat up by Absorbing man at first, eventually he just transmuted him. Now a days Thor just makes a vortex around him and calls it a day he's done that twice already Sentry over loads him once and every one was like "DAMN NOBODY DONE THAT SH@T BEFORE.* yeah Quasar did that sh@t before no big deal. Sentry is strong, Sentry is powerful very powerful but not Cosmic. If he was around when the heroes fought Thanos he wouldn't have made much of a difference, if he was around when they fought Onslaught same result. Sorry.

Regarding Molecule Man. His state of mind has always dictated the extend of his abilities. If Sentry beats MM, yet is put down by Absorbing Man w/cube powers, it makes you question if MM was at 100%. Looking back Sentry vs. MM, Owen was clearly not in his best state of mind.
He still gets props for ripping Ares in Half, and tanking Thor’s hammer toss.
There should always be debate, or we won't progress as a sociality
"Id" presented scenario explanation of why/how MM lost to Sentry, but still it doesn't dissolve the fact that Sentry WTF pwn him! MM is a stepping stone into Sentry character.
Sentry would be boring if everyone loves him, opposition/opinion on the other side what makes this guy unique.
I am completely indifferent about Sentry as a character. Far as I can tell, Marvel built Sentry to provoke love/hate….and as a plot device. But yeah for what its worth, you take the face value of Sentry feat over Molecule Man. He overpowered him (backing up his Bazillion Sun Busting hype), and seemed to finally understand his abilities steam from Matter Manipulation. Which quite frankly explains a lot.
