I really dont care what you take or dont take to heart.
Bashing? Oh please!
I gave my review, if you dont like it, that's your problem. I think you need to see the movie before you blatantly defend it or disregard other people's reviews!
AOTC stunk!
#1 in the whole series? Your opinion.
I have my own, get used to that notion!
This was definatly a different approach to the Austin Powers series.
The first half of the movie wasn't very funny. But the last half had some REALLY funny parts. I'm not going to spoil any of it for any of you. I don't know what Texas is talking about. The trailers didn't show anything that was even remotely funny in the movie. The funny parts are all surprises.
Of course it wasn't as good as the original, but I would put this on the same level as The Spy who Shagged Me. Like I said before, the first half is slow, but after that, the movie is over and you're wanting more.
The movie has enough crude laughs and hot ladies (fat bastards for the women) to keep anyone entertained. And the new twist was surprising, and it actually had a lot of heart. It's not a great movie, but it keeps you entertained for an hour and a half, just like the first two.
I know how we can reduce arguments in this thread. Let's mention Schindler's List!
Austin Powers has never realy been my cup of tea bit I know that all my friends who like it get into very voracious arguments over which of the first two was better than the other so I look forward to the new arguments over having to rank THREE of them...
