This thread brings me back memories, too. One of my first comics is Rachel confronting Beyonder. Such a classic story. The only character, IMO, that rivals Beyonder are the mysterious Overseers. They're basically the same type of character (beings above space and time, lies outside of creation, not bonded by the Presence, and rules over an infinite amount of universes, etc...)
so in fact pre-retcon beyonder = TOAA ??? (just a different name)
he's suppose to be outside creation but then there's many like him (the race of Beyonders) so that kinda takes away from the "one above everything else " thing
someone must have created the beyonders universe as well so would the real god be TORAA ? (The One Really Above All) lol
Since there is only one Beyonder throughout Marvel, any appearances he, or his power, make are canon to him. Having said that, these next scans are from "What If: Secret Wars" (which again, would still be canon for Beyonder.)
Annihilates the most powerful civilizations in existence, then goes on to kill the Elders and strip them of the infinity gems. Meaning: Doom stacked the power of the IG on top of the Beyonder's power: http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/7565/doompower7.jpg
