Oh please, no metal case will top the Premium box of RE4 on Ps2. Especially coming from SquareEnix considering they favor Japan over us so much more. Which is basically why I said **** them after 10.

As you can see the Xbox 360 has not been able to break into to the top three yet. Even with the head start last year MS hasn't really made an impact. But at the same time it proves that it continues to increase in the Japanese market. Which is good for the console. But it's very little chance it will take the spot from the DS. Next month PS3 will debut. We'll see how things go.
Squaresoft and Enix were both Japanese companies and Squenix after the merger remains a Japanese company, it only makes sense for them to favor their home market.
Regardless the US 99% of the time gets shafted somehow. It's also almost a give in that almost every single game is made in Japan and brought here, save for Grand Theft Auto, and Bully.

That used to be true, but there are more and more games developed by American or European companies. Halo, Gears of War, Half Life, Doom, World of Warcraft, Tom Clancy games, Oblivion, Assassin's Creed, BioShock.
Non Japanese games are really blowing up right now, and it's good.
Oh sure, it's North America that gets shafted, is it? My heart bleeds... Europe doesn't even have a release date for most decent upcoming DS titles yet! And it's a bigger market.

And doesn't Europe get titles that never reach America also? Tales Of Eternia for PSP comes to mind. Majority of games that stay for Japanese Ps2s, reach the different countries overseas but never the US. So I think that's a fair compliment for Europe not getting the entire library.

Well I have decided I will probably give in and get a Black DS Lite, I'm not a fan of the white, definitely not a fan of the Pink and I have no release date for the Blue and I can't wait much longer!
This is as much as I know for uk release dates:
no mention of a DSlite Blue around xmas time
I don't know if that will change... I would think the best time to release it would be xmas.

I'm probably going to do the same...I was going back and forth between black or pink (I simply dislike white), but I plan on getting a skin for it and all the ones I've seen look best with black or white, so black it is.
Still no release date for either blue DS here, either. Sucky.
