my mates kid got her ds (old model) stolen while she was shopping in ikea but I guess they got worried as they left it in the store and someone handed it in.
then it broke and they took it back to the store that she bought it from and because it was the old ds and that model was not being made anymore the guy upgraded to a ds lite for just £10!!
I haven't lost anything of mine yet... I keep it all in my dslite bag I bought from ebay.
and I hope I never lose that cause like Lana, I'd also lose everything, and I can't afford to buy another
i need some serious suggestions...i havent played any in a while....and because i am on my third ds lite (first one cracked like i said earlier, the second one was thrown in the toilet after my boyfriend caught a jealous rage...and believe me it suxs...i am sooo poor and to dish out cash for a third one really hurt my heart and purse almost considered not getting another one.)
anyhow... the only game i have actually retained is princess peach and a few others so...any suggestions?
FYI: lana as for the decal girl skin i jyst ordered this one http://www.decalgirl.com/browse.cfm/4,4172.htm

I was playin the Mario game...my DS was fairly new so I didn't had a large library yet. I was considering picking up age of empires...but that's when I lost mine.
[update]
After visiting 3 different Best Buys and 2 Fry's Electronics and my local Gamestop....I couldn't find a DS lite. No black Onyx. Ony pink available.
I'll keep searching....

What could have caused this upsurge in the demand for Nintendo DS's?
Do they even make the original DS's anymore.
Whenever I get a DS Lite, I still plan on keeping my Original DS because I'd like to keep it in my collection (Who would I give/sell it to anyway?) and because of sentimental value.
Wii's are popular and hard to find, people who wanted a Wii but couldn't find one found out that Nintendo makes another system with a similar gimmick/style that is available for cheap, they all bought it since they couldn't find a Wii.
Except the sudden high demand started long before most people were aware of new Pokemon games.
It just really became wildly popular this past holiday season - not that they weren't already, but even moreso, and probably a lot more than most people would have thought.

I would have thought the demand for Nintendo DS's would have died down by now, especially since Christmas was 4 months ago.
I guess it took the Nintendo Wii to be released to bring to light the Wonderfulness of the Nintendo DS.....maybe.
I still have no idea when I'll get a Nintendo DS Lite if ever. By the time I decide to get it Nintendo will probably be coming out with the next Generation HandHeld.
I really see no need to buy another Handheld that does the same thing that my current one does but with brighter light.

I can't get the one I want. There is no waiting list for them....I'll have to settle for the white DS. Darn! It really eats me alive that I lost my first one.
I was amused the other day because at my store we actually had more pink and black DSs than white which annoys me because I wanted a pink one, damnit...
