- The opening battle is probably the grandest and most violent ever seen in these games
- Having made the introduction to their concept in the first game (in advance of Neo meeting them in Reloaded), this game is about Exiles. However, as ever the game does not want to simply run over again what the films did, it probably is not so in the way you are thinking
- The game is not a direct sequel to the first one. The are definitely continuity elements, but frankly nearly everything you didn't know from ther first game will remain unknown. New players won't feel a tall left out, either. There is no guarantee that important characters from the earlier game will return.
- And as an example- there is most definitely a different villain in this game
- Philosophically speaking, the first game was about identity. The final Philosophy puzzle revolved around being sure you were who you thought you were, and there were heavy identity issues about Medea and Jericho.
This game's theme is more about society, and your decisions have a correspondingly greater impact. The worst thing that could have happened in the first game is that you all died. This time you are going to be seriously worried for everyone's future.
- Most likely, the game will again be split into five parts. Those who have played my games before but not these ones, be aware that these five 'parts' make up about as much time as a single episode (albeit probably a large episode) of my Star Wars games, being more ways to conveniently split up a single storyline than being different stories in of themselves. It is actually quite difficult to put together decent Matrix stories, so they tend to be short, intense bursts rather than sweeping epics (epic stature befits Star Wars better, anyway). RPing is slower than it used to be, so let's give a rough guess and say it will last a year. Don't shoot me if I am wrong- we may be all done in six months or it might drag on forever due to absences etc.
- Each part has one centrepeice battle, aside from the specific Philosophy path part which will instead have their 'Thought for the Day' bit to think about
- The game is also planned to be a little bit vicious. Deaths, both NPC and PC, are entirely possible.

Well, I think the training mission and dojo would help, since I haven't really done anything along the lines of a battle in any of your RPs, Ush.
One other thing: I'm gonna be really busy for a while, with band, bowling (if I make the team), more homework than last year, and possibly other stuff. So, don't be surprised if I'm away for a long time inbetween posts again...
i dont think ive ever played one of ush's games before. but i do know what pre-gens are and i cant stand them. the main reason i rp is character creation. i love not having to live my life but to create a new existance that i can get absorbed in... my own matrix
