Did she split hydro-man's water molecules up into seperate hydrogen and oxygen molecules, or did she just turn him into vapor(a gaseous form of water)?

With her control over electrons she can break him down even further and make him hydrogen and oxygen thus killing him since he wouldn't be water anymore.
Kinda like my argument for her vs Iceman.

It's something how almost everything I've been saying about her is showing up in the books.
I used that exact same argument for her and Iceman. I think I said she turns him into a gas with the heat from the lightning and the heat turns him to plasma.
I don't feel bad because people with SENSE actually "get" the storm thing and how her powers actually work.

nobody hates the fact that she can do more than chuck lightning like spears. [intentionally insulting to make a point about this alleged conception of we "storm haters." no offense or malice implied.] and we're certainly not lackies simply because we have agreeing opinions. many of us were put off due almost entirely to some of the pedantic, over-extrapolated posts in this and other storm-centric threads. personally, i do view her as one of the most powerful mutants, and probably the most deserving or logical choice for the next revealed omega. but it hasn't happened, and rambling on and on about the randomest effects of weather and how storm's magic but never uses it and how every writer who touches her should be showing her full, for whatever reason "super cool" potential gets as tedious as the fanboys of any character could be. it's bothersome. and saying that people "of sense" get it, and implying disagreement dictates some lack of sense, is no help to this imaginary e-cause.
want proof? of all the respect threads on the first page with more than 100 posts, this thread has the lowest view-to-post ratio, with just about 18. the highest is darkseid's thread, with seventy-five and change. people have been turned OFF from this thread, and the feats of your favorite character, due to how this has been handled. it's imaginative, but more bullheaded and grating by far. just post scans. post feats. cut the over-the-top dramatics about magic heritage that's never been explored and controlling time because it's kind of like weather. nobody really needs to hear that, and those of us who do hear it are prone to not believe it because of how it's being pushed out there.

as you can see we havent posted anything she hasnt done herself. cis/pis that shit is irrelevant to what goes on in the books and/or what marvel gave her as power. on these forums, you guys use that to an advantage, but when storm fans fight back with real knowlege of her power its a problem.

storm has been de-written, she isnt active like she used to be, all she seems to use is lightning and wind and be a wife. its like damn is she a super heroine or some woman who married blk panther.

how is it imaginative, when all of the post on here are her doing?
magic is in her story so basicly its apart of her. if there is a book with her making a time portal of some sort, then she can do it.

have you guys ever tried to talk to one of us and find out. maybe if we had a chance to discuss matters in a civilized way, without the name calling maybe it will be pushed out a little better. but until that happensi guess it will remain the same.

then why all of the quotes from wikipedia or whatever other random source? why all this extrapolation about what she should be doing, what minor abilities should fall into her power set, and what you'd love most to see? [not you individually, you collectively. technically, mostly 2damnloud.] just post the feats, write up a short description with as few unnecessary or inaccurate adjectives as possible, and be done with it. make a storm discussion thread, like the wolverine thread in the comic books forum, if you want to talk all this gypsy nonsense. going into a respect thread, and seeing all sorts of overblown, "unformational" crap turns people off the thread, the character AND those posting.
i thought monsoon, but don't worry. and thor, the god of lightning, COULD probably do everything storm's done. his hammer's magic [in a way that's actually been expressed, not just mentioned,] and he's a god. just because he hasn't doesn't mean he couldn't. but, this is a respect thread, and not a thor one, so that kind of talk doesn't belong here.
agreed. i never much cared for her, due mostly to her contradictory episodes in personality, but it's easy to see how far she's fallen. again, however, not something that belongs in a respect thread.
right. so not having your [collective] opinions and ideas thrown in with the canon material would be useful, and ease a lot of the tensions between posters here.
that's an excuse. this thread was seeing plenty of posting before it got all preachy. and most every "hater" i've seen talk about storm has done so explicitly saying what level of respect they have for the character, if not for the other nonsense getting thrown around. nobody's going around saying "haha, **** storm. she couldn't even water a plant!" they're avoiding this thread because of the things in it.

have you read the posts here? "storm GREATLY affecting silver surfer." if i recall, that was what set this all in motion. then there's the posts of non-canon, sourceless material regarding weather and electromagnetism and solar winds and all that other crap that relates to storm only in the "this is what I THINK she should be capable of" sense. as you said, it's not our character. your grandstanding, over-the-top extrapolations don't belong here any more than people undercutting the feats.
what, once? she had a magic necklace that had candra's lifeforce in it or something? that means she's magic? and the argument that time and space are not facets of weather isn't an absurd one, friend. that's just a plain, legitimate gripe.
i've been reading x-men comics for as long as i can remember. i know a good deal about all the characters. saying she can do more than i know is a stretch, especially when these things she "can" do are just quotations from random, uncited websites regarding weather, and not actually canon material.
this one blurb of a paragraph doesn't constitute moral high ground, by the way. saying noone's come at you without involving namecalling doesn't mean it's their fault, especially when the namecalling comes from both sides. have you [collectively] ever tried just posting the feats and shutting up? this whole forum's got a billion and six places you could have a conversation somewhere that people don't need to directly equate it to storm and her powers. a discussion thread would work perfectly, because nobody would go there twice if they wanted solid information. they could just come to the respect thread, and if they wanted to talk, go there. it's not a foreign concept, and it's one that would easily stop, or at least slow, this back-and-forth of "you're a fanboy dork" and "you're an uneducated putz" bullshit.
it's like church and state. fact and opinion. keep 'em separate and the only people who'd complain are the minority who feel the need to impose on others. i might not be fond of you [collectively,] though i think rutog's a fine citizen, but i wouldn't use the term "oppressive" to describe you.

I would appreciate it if you keep MY name out of your post, and I would also most appreciate it if you would just not write these long, uselss essays period because I can see this going for several dozen pages with absolutely nothing being accomplished.
I would also like it if no one would respond to each other any further. It's a completely useless dialogue.

i'd like it if pointless pointing was left altogether out of the respect threads, as well. except, my definition of pointless posts is somewhat larger than your own, i'd assume, as it includes vapid quotations and glorification of non-canon material presented as the present or future of a character you and i have no say in creating.
seriously, for the sake of everything our collective consciousness holds dear, just make a storm respect thread to put that stuff in. it doesn't belong in a respect thread, just like this banter between us.
