Last night our power was out by 8:30 and didn't even come back on and stay on until about 45 minutes ago. I shot these pictures of all of the ice and our poor ruined trees!

Aaaaaand..our power came back up and my dog gets scared easily by anything and the flickering power scared her so she's been up all night and when it finally came back on 45 minutes ago she jumped up in my lap and took advantage of my boyfriend's warm hoodie...and making my arm go numb. I know I look like poo but when your power is out you don't exactly have access to a hair dryer and a mirror with enough lighting to put makeup on. #hanuts#

And why won't it?

The ice itself will not kill the trees but it has weighed so many trees down over here to where they're leaning almost all the way on the ground and have snapped branches all over. They're not going to sit themselves back up when the ice is gone.
Not all trees can be repaired and therefore they have to be removed or will sit there making the yard/area look tacky.
