Well she's supposed to be a Phantom Stranger villain? Which would presumably make her pretty damn powerful. I recall long pig admitted Dr Strange would lose to the Phantom Stranger, which would indicate that Selene doesn't really stand a chance?
I hate cat = pet = dog logic. But that's all I've got to go on for now...
i believe that selene is the oldest "mutant" in existance, even older than apocalypse, she would have much more experience using her powers which may be an advantage

To be fair I think Selene has wasted the many millenia she's been alive..she may keep on pulling powers out of her backside with every new appearance..but when you consider the time she's had to hone her abilities, her telepathy does suck....I mean Mirage and Rachel have gotten to her...(Unless she was holding back for some reason)
