Too thin on the bench with key players like Anderson, Lewis and Carter out.
Nelson and Redick in particular were plain awful. Couldn't hit anything. Got no rhythm going and played miserable defense.
Didn't help that Barnes played sick.
God, it's like one night someone sprains their ankle, then the next night it's someone getting sick. It's crazy, esp. after being so deep, now the Magic look paper thin.
Thunder was red hot, couldn't miss.
Since Dwight got no help from his shooters, he was ganged up on and a sub-par game at best.
Magic looked lifeless and lost. Pathetic really.
This one is best filed under games best forgotten.
toronto seem to be playing pretty well, been able to watch a couple of games, opening night against the cavs we played really well but gave up a big lead, still ground it out though and thats a good start. dropping two games kinda sucked, but showed how much we need to defend better. detroit was a good game and beating the hornets was a good result for us, although they dont seem to be the team they were a year or two ago.
our bench has been scoring nicely and playing better D than the starters, belinelli has caught my eye, wright seems to have a nice looking shot derozen seems to show some promise and make good decisions.
Wont take much to shut Mbenga down, and Drew may not even play. But when Drew was healthy, Amare couldn't do shit.
Mbenga is a better defender than Bynum, but he'll likely be posterized once or twice when we play them. I'll take it if he keeps playing defense like he has been.
Didn't watch anything beyond the first qtr (played Dragon Age instead).
I don't recognize this team right now.
They came out with a bang and now they're fizzling.
They have no heart right now which is very aggravating to see considering all the talk and supposed determination.
I can't explain what's going on with them right now.
They really don't seem to care, win or lose.
I can only imagine they're going through a process as a team with a lot of changes and their defense hasn't arrived.
Though, the season is young and it's likely that once Lewis gets back into rotation and in the scheme of things they'll start living up to expectations. Otherwise this will be a huge disappointment for any Magic fan/fan of the game.
yeah absolutely, theres a lot of promise on this team. losing to san an was hard, such a high scoring game but i lvoed how we shut down the bulls in the second half... that first half must have been an eye opener!
