To topple Galactus is a great feat yes but his magical attack was only focused on topple him and nothing els, and he had to use all his powers to do so, later in that same issue Strange is very scared by Galactus saying that he would have found it amusing to see how long strange would have persisted Galactus wish to help him. So do you really think that Galactus couldn't if he wanted to have stopped ore just remain standing if he wished it to be so?
Maybe I should point out that Galactus attack previously triggered a point 4,7 on the richtar scale possibly the smallest amount of energy that he wished to use.
Galactus tells him he has gone too far. Uatu proclaims that Galactus will not consume earth. Galactus' hunger is immense. (I MUST HAVE SUSTENANCE! GALACTUS MUST SURVIVE!)
The watchers all stop their duties and conduct death rites for Uatu. None of the assembled watcher host dare impede Galactus as he leaves.
616-Uatu reveals that it is painful for him to reveal this alternate reality, because had it happened to him (i.e., in current continuity) he would probably have paid the same price, and suffered the same fate.
Galactus has demonstrated a level of control with the UN that's superior to anyone else who's ever used it on panel. He doesn't even have to see his target(and his target doesn't have to be anywhere near him), he can fire it effortlessly with a "seeking" effect very similar to DS's Omega Effect from across the universe.

Of course theres the movie galactus... Just note that he is in the cloud and by portraying him this way he seems somewhat more godly than his comic version

This in the movie convinces me that he isn't the cloud it self and i assume that the cloud masks his presence and is his power field
