im constantly torn between the idea of Snape being evil or playing a double role (or should that be triple?) i think iv got it sussed then i read something, or here someone elses point of view and am indecisive again....i would like to think JK will make him good in the end....(please..)
I agree AIR. I think Snape should be good too. He just has too big of a role in the series to not have done anything truly evil yet (excusing that minor incident where he killed Dumbledore). But if Snape and Dumbledore had an unbreakable vow that stated that Snape was not to let anything happen to Malfoy of to not let Malfoy do anything "unforgiveable" before the vow between Snape and Narcissa....then I think it is plausible that Snape can indeed still be on the Order's side.
yeah my main point for arguing is that in my opinion (which i know is shared by some and loathed by others!) that Dumbledore and Snape had an understanding and i think Dumbledore is the type of character that is selfless, i can truly see him giving his life to protect Snape and Draco, and i think perhaps to give Harry drive, Dumbledore knows Harry has to go after Voldemort, hes given him more incentive to do so.
She most probably never need write again. She has her riches. She'll published seven remarkably popular books that are well written, concluding neatly (we hope with the seven)...
Some authors write for their entire lives and achieve none of that. And some do achieve that, and then don't know where to stop, and end up producing a heap of tosh that taints peoples views of the author, and makes them seem like a has been. A glory hog. Or a washed up artist who has run out of steam.
JK is smart, I don't think she will try to keep it going longer then it should and risk what she has created. She will finish, and then sit back and bask in her sucess.
