Harry doesnt have to kill himself first. Ok For example: Harry has killed all the Horcruxes besides himself and Voldemort. He can kill Voldemort(Voldemort would not 'techincally' die, but he would become a spirit) and then kill himself immedieatley after that. Therefore Voldemort can not comeback because he has no more soul to come back with.
Two things I would like to put forward: 1) Harry is DEFINATELY not a horcrux, why? Because Voldemort intended to kill him with the death curse, that is the only spell he performed on baby Harry as far as we know, but why would he make him a horcrux then try to obliterate him?
2) Snape is a good guy, Dumbledore would have died from that potion he drank and I think he knew he would have to scarifice himself this way. I think he planned his own death with Snape, partly to protect Draco Malfoy. Dumbledore trusted Snape to the end, and he is one of the most astute wizards on such matters, so i trust him too.

I think Harry will end up defaeting the Dark Lord at the cost of either Ginny or Ron.I don't think he will die unless he falls down the grand staircase. But then again Harry might die just within duel against because he does not have Dumbledores protection. Anything is possible at this point.

Just this TINY little thing that really bugs me how in gods name is harry going to kill Voldermort...exactly how is this going to occur...has everyone forgot book 4 with the chapter entitled Priori Incantatum...there wands dont work against each other so either Harry or Voldermort is going to get a new wand..which i very much doubt or theyre going to have to ring one another necks.....its really very cleverly thought out by JK.
but then the people who he killed would come out of the wand, if it goes to the Dark Lord's end, and They would try to protect him again, and then Harry could do some kind of spell.
i thimk scrimegour(cant spell his name) is somehow voldemort i kno that sounds weird but that would be the best thing for voldemort being the new minister of magic and then coming out as some sort of dictator i dont kno i just hav this weird feeling whenever he talks to harry in the book i just hav a hunch

He cant kill LV. and if he could, he wouldnt, JK wouldnt do that. I think, if he kills anybody, it will be Bellatrix.
Hmmm, this is a bit out there, but does anybody think that the little predicting Trelawney was doing when Harry was on his way to Dumbledore's first lesson might mean anything?
Could be nothing, but it just seems so, well, prophetic. And it certainly sounds like it refers to Harry, but who is doing the questioning? Scrimgeour? Snape with his mind delving spells? Voldermort even? Also could the department of mysteries figure into the story again, what with the covered arch, and the door that supposedly leads the way to the force Voldermort fears so much (love)?
And I think Harry could potentially die, as the prophecy doesn't specifically say that one will survive, or that one *has to survive*. It's more like the only chance for one to live is for the other not to. Still, if Harry has got to kill Voldermort, then it would be difficult for him to do so if he is dead (unless it is one of those noble sacrifice kind of things)
And of course, will Ollivander the wand maker turn up, in the beginning he seemed like someone who was wise, knew something. Then he doesn't appear again, and then he is mentioned in passing as having disappeared and how ominous it is. Perhaps Voldermort captured him to find out why Harry's and his wand did what they did, to work out a way that could help him?

I think it woud be really nice if the (most likely) greatest Wizard of all times, Merlin (we know he has lived in the "HP-world") could somehow help harry with a book etc.
