In many threads on comic sites there seem to be lists: strongest, fastest, etc.
Don't remember any regarding smartest.
Thought I'd send this out and see who corrects me

Marvel brains (all mortal earthlings) in order:

1. Victor Von Doom
2. Reid Richards
3. Bruce Banner
4. Tony Stark
5. Henry Pym
6. Hank McCoy
7. Walter Langwoski
8. Stephen Strange
9. Rhodes (can't remember his firts name {Tony Stark's stand-in})
10. Charles Xavier
11. T'Challa
12. Nick Fury
13. James Macdonald Hudson
14. Otto Octavius
15. Norman Osbourne
16. Peter Parker
17. Michael Twoyoungmen
18. Alicia Masters
19. Scott Summers
20. Ororo Monroe

Storm is highly intellgent and smart so is Alicia. Both have proven that they are intellgent, they could best magneto. Magneto is clever but not really much pass it. Some of his plans are sometimes highly flawed.

Stickin' with Doom over Richards.

The High Evoltuionary, of course; I should have thought of him.

I put Storm on there ,along with Scott Summers, figuring she is a great strategist... same reason for Fury (he runs SHEILD, after all)... but not attached to the idea of any of them.
Thought about Conners, wasn't sure.

Doesn't Rhodes know a thing or two about weaponary and advanced technology? Am I mistaken?

Moira - hmmm, great point
Forge - another great point.

Magneto? No way, given his power somebody smarter would have succedded in ruling the planet by now.

Thanos is not human, is he?
If that wasn't a consideration I'd be picking elders of the Universe.
