You'd be suprised how many people dont, they swallow alot of mainstream storys that are rubbish but miss the real gems because they are too set in either "Marvel" or "DC".
What are you talking about ? Don't go making wild assumptions.

yes i make wild assumptions. a great deal of posters here are ppl in their teens..not that im some old ass mofoker or anything, but watchmen came out when i was 4, and certainly way b4 i started caring about comics, but these kids are so used to everyone of thier heroes being superstrong and shooting lasers outta there eyes, and lifting mountains with thier minds that whenever they see a comic thats sans ridiculosly over powered beings they usually just skip it...thats why you have totally awesome comics like Deus ex Machina that only has a cult following, cuz only true comic fans can handle the fact that there is a universe with only one superhero in it.
Rorschach easily deserves a respect thread. When he takes on that army of police officers in Moloch's house. The dude is 5'6 and has a fragmented mind, yet he can duke it out with some tough folks, and instills a lot of fear in the criminal world. He is what I imagine The Batman would be like, if The Batman had no Alfred and Robin. Because both are down in the streets, hard ass vigilantes, but Rorschach has no compunctions with killing people. He's also quite an impressive detective. As for people who own this book...I do not. But I have read it (obviously). It is good, but manjaro, assuming that you are better than other comic fans, because they read mainstream super hero books, while you read indie super hero books, isn't saying much. If that is your best claim to fame, then i'd probably be better than you, because I read non-super hero comics like Scud the Disposable Assassin (been a fan of that character ever since I used to own the game for Sega Saturn), Sabrina Online and Strangers in Paradise. That of course, would only be, if I went by your logic. Which I don't. We are all comic book fans, preferences, withstanding.
All you have to do is quote the stuff you posted, then copy and paste that instead.
If you just copy it out, just by the stuff we see, then it won't work.
I have the original comics and a trade paperback. But I see where you're coming from when you make that claim. So much of this forum is spent talking about things like feats, fights, and powers, while that's not what makes comic books interesting.
So...wait, this Rorscharch (sp?) guy gains all these Batman/Daredevil/Captain America/etc powers like lifting 1000 lbs, jumping 30' in the air, punching through windshields and beating up 50 guys at a time...because he puts on some BDSM mask and dresses like a pervert? Weak.

Well, if respect is just about being the best at something, I guess, he, as a normal person, doesn't deserve a thread. But since he is really awesome and pulled some badass shit I respect him.
