Why does the search engine SUCK?

Now, when you do a search from a forum, it should give you more accurate and more up-to-date results.

Next, I need to get "display as threads" working....

Bad, bad side effect on the KMC Search when you search entire posts. As a result, it gives the threads in which your keyword(s) appear instead of the posts itself.

And look at "Find all posts" in our profile.
