You didn't need to prove that Perry could sing lower, I knew he could. You have just got to prove that he's a factually technically better singer than Geddy Lee. I'm not trying to convince you, I already know, you're the one trying to convince me.

If I was here trying to make you agree, the burden of proof would be on me, but I'm not. I could care less what you think, you're wrong.

It doesn't mean anything, because at the end of the day, you think things like "Santana is better than Rush.".

You dumbass!

You were the one who said that Geddy had the better range! If you knew that Perry could go lower, and just as high, then Geddy has the inferior range. What the hell is wrong with you? You must know jack shit about vocal ability.

He's got more control. I proved this by showing how he intentionally deepened his voice and was still able to hit immense high notes. He's got the better range. He's "factually" the better singer.

Yeah, we're gonna have to agree to disagree. It's like I'm arguing with a brick wall. Except even less intelligent.

Apparantly "Frank" doesn't either, do you?

Feel free to visit digitaldreamdoor.com . It’s a music forum, and there is a vocal section. Bring up Geddy Lee being better than Perry and see how many people will laugh at you. We already started a thread on the topic and even the fansof Geddy Lee admit Perry is a much better singer.

I actually knew you would bring up that website sooner or later. It's a forum, forum meaning anybody can join and anybody can comment. Speciality music websites do not mean that everybody there is a genius.

I've seen people on 'Door that called Nick Mason a better technical drummer than Terry Bozzio.

There are people who would "agree" that Britney Spears is a better singer than Kate Bush, are THEY right? No, because it's stupid.

Funny how you're replying across the board to things I've said to Gideon, "you" and "Frank". You're slipping up, slowly, but slipping.

Second, why does me not commenting mean that I didn't watch it? It doesn't. I'm telling you I watched it, you wouldn't believe me even if I described everything to you, because you simply do not believe anybody could think Geddy Lee is better, and I'm not letting you escape the MAIN point:

You said Geddy Lee CANNOT do these things, or Frank, whichever name you wanna use. Prove where he said he can't, not "Anybody can hear it!" or "LISTEN TO...".

Unless Geddy Lee has conceded that he can't, you mean nothing.

When did I say I believed Perry could go as high? You assumed I believed that because YOU believe that.

I proved my point with the Freddie Mercury example. He, technically, had a four octave range, same as Kate Bush. Kate Bush constantly uses hers, Freddie never. Therefore, Kate Bush is better.

Geddy sustains high notes throughout songs, singing entirely in extremely high falsetto. He has the more constant range. Just because Steve Perry is a clear singer (And he is, to be fair), doesn't make his range better.

Anybody can go high for a bit, low for a bit, and sing normally for a whole song. It's when you can do the extremes throughout that make you great.

No, you proved that he intentionally deepened his voice. So what? You don't hit high notes in baritone, you hit high notes in falsetto if it's constant.

He's not factually the better singer, but I'm not the one trying to convince you. You are the one trying to prove something.

Every website has their characters let me tell you. The people in the vocal forum on DDD are generally the more intelligent posters. Most of them trained singers who would be more than happy to defend our case. Considering they already agree with me, I see no reason to why you shouldn’t bring your case to DDD. And I don’t know if you realize it or not but you are just like the morons who say Nick Mason is better than Terry Bozzio, except in your case you are saying Geddy Lee is better than Steve Perry. So please bring your case to DDD, I would love to see you get roasted even more than you are already.

Hahaha oh my god, you really don’t get it do you. Watching that video proves that Perry has a more developed and controlled upper register. But hey I shouldn’t be telling this to you because you’re the vocal expert remember…you would know these things. And what is this bullshit about Geddy Lee conceding…it’s quite apparent from the evidence of his rather elementary pseudo chipmunk vocal work that he is not as skilled. But don’t take my word for it. Take it to the vocal section at digitaldreamdoor…And please no excuses this time lol.

Hahahaha wow you really don’t know what you’re talking about. The falsetto part of your voice is the easiest part to use. Perry rarely uses falsetto, in fact he uses his full range and head range to cover the high notes. Geddy has to stick to falsetto because his full range is obviously not suited for the high notes. So you basically in a nutshell just proved yourself wrong. Perry throughout songs uses his FULL range for high notes, his range is the more CONSTANT one. And Perry does in fact use falsetto for high stuff, such as the end of Mother, Father and during the Wheel in the Sky solo.

"Our case", haha. Too obvious.

Anyway, that's such a ridiculous claim. "Most of them are trained singers.". I'm surprised you have anything left inside your body, you're pulling a lot of shit outta your ass.

I'm not getting roasted. I've diminished your case to schoolyard tactics. "BRING IT TO MY FORUM! COME ON!". You clearly need the backing. I don't. I'm right, I don't need "other people" (Hehe).

Cool. I'll be there with my friend John, he's a singer. He's not me.

Yea being able to go high in your full range as well as your head range is what is impressive, not falsetto. Your stupidity and lack of vocal knowledge never ceases to amaze me.

Come on, one or the other. Be Gideon or Pazzo, which one is it to be? I'm not replying to you "both" anymore.

Geddy uses falsetto because he can, not because he has to.

Oh get a life.

Either be one person or leave it out, because it's really pathetic how you're replying to three "people's" posts and denying you're the same person. Is it getting too much to sign in and out?

I have two AIM accounts open now, I could do the same thing.

Oh so you know Gideon now? It's all coming out.

It's rather sad that to debate me you have to either gather friends or make up names.

Gideon invited me here from DDD. The ****ing thread is open there where he asks me to come defend Perry's case. And that's great and all you have more than one screen name, but if we were the same person we would not be able to type something to you at the same time. Look it doesnt matter...come to DDD and they will tell you we are not the same person since my word isn't enough for your immature mind.

Can I have your AIM name?

I don't know, it's a new depth of patheticism I'm not yet understanding.

I added those AIM names by the way. Odd that they've been online for the absolute exact same amount of time...but that's probably just coincidence too...

A) *You're.

B) The Temples of Syrinx by Rush.

I await your comeback consisting of: "This isn't better!". I'm sure it'll be brilliant.
