i think you sould try doing different backgrounds. Use other techinques. Look through tutorials and stuf. Last time i looked at a tut was about 6 months ago. You learn to apply techniques to make your own stuff. Not just replications

Your stuff is okay though. smile

blend the render if enything

I don't know....
The background looks like water colors...and I like it.
And the Japanese text is working....
but the render is cut really bad.

nice attempt at smudging lol, but usually if you gonna u gotta blend it in so that its almost hard to tell if it was part of him or not smile

another thing to do is to duplicate the render erase all of it except the hands or cut out the hands w/e and smudge the hands creating more of a glowy effect there smile

idk if u did but i told u how to upload the fonts and brushes just read though my thread one of the last posts i made
