yeah, nobody who wins the presidency in '08 should be smiling... they've got a lot of problems to deal with and no easy answers
me, I might vote for McCain, but I don't know how I feel about his Iraq war policy...for that matter, I don't know how I feel about the Democrats' Iraq policy
...I think our troops are going to be involved in that region for a long time now regardless of whether we pull out of Iraq or not (a major foreign policy overhaul notwithstanding)

That may be the case. However, I feel you won't have the opportunity to vote for McCain beyond the primaries.
However, Obama's plan wants benchmarks for the Iraqi government with finnacial and troop withdrawl repercussions if they aren't met. If they are met, the US is willing to be flexible.
Imo, that the best plan out there right now and its a democratic one.
Its not a baseless claim at all. Other candidates declare on talk shows, infront of state capitols, in museums, yet we see Hillary in the home, on a couch with the overtly femenine "lets talk about it" campaign message.
Which stereotype? I already said. So quit mudslinging at me and think about everything a candidate does and what message it sends.
I'm not saying that Clinton didn't strategically make her campaign announcement. Are you going to claim that Obama isn't being strategic when he announces his candidacy in Springfield and drew connections to Lincoln? All candidates do it. Clinton will take advantage of the fact she is a woman. Obama will take advantage of the fact he is black. It's going to happen
And I'm not mudslinging. However, your rabid Obamania is translating into slamming the other candidates now. If Clinton wins the nomination, will you vote for her?
Let's not have this before the nomination comes. Wait until we have our candidate to turn our ire to the opponent.
If CLinon wins, of course I'd vote for her. But enough of this "rabid Obamamania" mudslinging.
Clinton chose to do her announce ment in the home. She was trying to appear femenine and cordial compared to the man-beast many people think she is. In doing so, she's reinforcing female steryotypes. This is different from using her biological uniqueness as a candidate.
Well maybe she was doing it to contradict her 'man-beast' image, rather than to reinforce stereotypes. No one tries to reinforce a stereotype that they are part of.
And as for the 'mudslinging' I'm calling it like I see it.

Hillary's attacking of Obama's ethnicity sickened me...plus i like obamas fresh young look, He truly is something that america needs in these troubled times. And he also looks like a leader that will act unlike dubya
sorry i meant she attacked him for his former religious ties and family tree. she made it a very clear point that his family is muslim, as if that even matters hes christian now
