which is exactly why you don't want her to endorse or concede. Believe me, I'm a hothead; if something like that had happened to me, I'd need a couple days to cool down so I could concede/endorse with sincerity.
That still sounds terribly vaginal to me.

I'm currently looking through the store at barackobama.com for t-shirts
Isn't that sad? I think the tee shirt mentality of marketing a political candidate is illustrative of the problem with the American public. And thats not directed at you, as I know you're joking. I also appreciate the levity with which you approach the reality that it will be an Obama ticket. As I have always said, no matter the outcome of this primary, democrats will rally around which ever candidate was the nominee.

If I am to presume that she is using her time to broker a deal, then I will repeat my earlier point, that her motives should become more and more transparent.
Without sounding too rude... don't be naive. This is politics.

but how is that naive? Or do you mean the irrelevence of hollow transparity in politics? If so, I'm not naive at all.

I'm not actually joking, I do want an Obama t-shirt. I understand and sympathize with your opinion on them, but I back up my t-shirts with action. Plus it supports the campaign

Perhaps I misunderstood you, but it seemed like you were surprised that she'd be using her remaining leverage to her advantage.

It's not what I think, it's how its being portrayed.

Then I don't quite understand the comment. Were roles reversed and the primary season ended with a Clinton advantage while Obama still had sizable support I have no doubt Obama would be doing the same thing with his leverage, or put any candidate in either position. All politicians have their agendas.
Also imo people are misconstruing a shrewd political move for magnanimousness. Although that may just be the cynic in me.

while I understand that it's a political move, I was still appreciative of his comments about Sen. Clinton.

why does it matter?
I, for one, only think Obama won as big as he did in Montana was because they called the nomination for him before the polls closed.

Clinton would certainly be the wisest choice for VP as far as ensuring a victory in November goes. I have no doubt about that.
Not so. Remember, an MSNBC poll of secular/liberal New York just a month ago (when we all knew Obama had this in the bag anyway) showed that an Obama/Clinton ticket would LOSE to a McCain/Rice ticket. By over 8 points.
In secular New York.
Imagine how well they'd do in the other parts of the country.
If McCain gets Colin Powell then forget it, it's over.
Even Huckabee, who'd rally the 100 million evangelicals to his side against the liberal Obama/Clinton ticket would probably be enough to do the trick.
In other news, congrats to Obama for making history. (seriously, that's a cool thing. I don't agree on his social positions, but it's cool for a brother to have a real shot at this.)

You mean Colin Powel, the guy who knowingly lied to the UN? That Colin Powell?

So?
Lying to the UN should be rewarded, not frowned upon.

Thought it was already established that polls of 3 months ago are worthless to today. You admitted as such, so stop backtracking and referencing polls that are ancient news. Unless you have a poll from today showing that, it's pointless.
