Gender: Female Location: When in Doubt, Go to the Library.
There's a movie version of it, if you're interested, made in 1977 I think. It's a fairly good adaptation. I think Peter Shaffer *the playwright* helped with the screenplay. So.

What, nakedness is censored in all film?
Theatre-goers more than likely know what they're getting themselves into, they wouldn't buy tickets if they were offended by the nudity. The fact that he's nude in this has been around everywhere.
Like I said, it's part of the play, the way Peter Shaffer wrote it. He's staying true to that. Stage or screen, or music video (people are near nude in those, I personally find it more offensive to be wearing that little clothing than to be naked) people see it.
It's hardly the main point of the play. Nudity and sex are to Equus as witchcraft is to Harry Potter. It's part of it, it's there for you to understand the characters, but... there's so much more.

I found some clips of it on youtube.com with Dan and it's really intense just watching the rehearsal clip u can feel the emotions in the play but I do think he's gone a little crazy but it's really interesting to watch and suprising but I want to see it in real life but I can't exactly go to the UK over night
oh ok I commented the original too then lol but I agree one hundred percent u feel what its about when u see it or read about it no words even have to be said
Personally.. I think people all just need to grow up. Dan obviously is, and as its been said his career will only last so long with Harry Potter. Now, see..I'm sure he will be REMEMBERED as Harry no matter what roles he takes on, but if he relied soley on these movies his entire career would be just that, a memory, nothing more. So bravo for Dan for taking a chance and expanding his horizion and taking on a more adult role.
