I agree with this. I voted for spiderman not being funny. I'd rather not anyone messed with his origin too (the whole sandman thing) so those are the only two problems I have with the movie. Otherwise, I like it.
Bakerboy what I can't understand is why you keep bashing the movies. So you don't like them, we get it. I dislike Superman but I don't go to the Superman forum and bash him. The movie isn't even released yet and here I am in a "what will be the biggest mistake in man spider 3?" tread. Seems to me that you've made up your mind about it without actually seeing it. And will you please stop with "man spider" thing it's just stupid. Why don't you see the movie first and then make your treads?
You always get ignorent fans who will never be satisfied with anything because any adaptation of one single comic book is looked as as raping the character in their eyes. They should get a life and stop being a typical fan.
Now that Black Cat has been warned about her childish name calling and trolling maybe this conversation can get back to being civilized again.Man there are so many betrayals to this next installment its pathetic but the worst one by far is the one i have just learned which is spiderman is being given a key to the city in man-spider 3.That tops them all even Sandman being Uncle Bens killer which was first until I learned of this one.Spiderman is hated by most of new york and here these idiots are making him into someone the entire city loves.
Raimi must be friends with that other idiot film director Tim Burton.He sure has taken lessons from him.who all can forget that crapfest batman 89 when that idiot had The Joker kill Batmans parents? Thank god Nolan came along to give true batman fans a true Batman movie.Just hope the same can be done for spidey someday as well.

well parker i told you once this was adaption and therefor would be problably having some changes,now they were based on the directors view and on the green greed machine (avi arad) who pushed to put venom in the movie for more cash.
about the city love,dont forget that once thomas fireheart started making good publicity for spiderman and most of the city started seeing him with good eyes,that what i see in this movie,a adaptation of that without the whole mistical puma saga.
im just gonna watch this a fun factor, im a huge spider fan and can let this one go,stop being such a fanboy parker,we never will get a comic fidelity movie.my hope is in the future someone reboots the franchise a la batman begins,and by that i mean better script not aimed at 6 years children.but being sony and arad the greed bastards they are i doubt,he ruined every marvel franchise from the tv series to movies,its time for him to go.

all the movies were crap,but enjoyable,they just dont have a replay factor to them cos them you start seeing how stupid the movie really is and it stop being enjoyable.
the thing that i hate most in the franchise werent the changes,but the audience this was aimed at,the first movie to me is still a teen movie,the second was a little better,i see this one will be cheesy as the first.
the movie seems to have potential.. i just dislike the sandman being bens killer and harry's goblin outfit, atleast the helmet. ... i see the toys and gag.
seriously most of you expect 2much from hollywood.
