Odin & the forces of Asgard vs Surtur & his legions. (Thor Vol.2,#40)
Notice the condition of Odin from earlier in this same issue(scan #1.)
There's much more to this fight in 40 as well as the previous issue(39.) This is merely the culmination.

Both Odin & Surtur were seemingly destroyed. Though Surtur would be revived by Loki in the Oeming arc.

Surtur vs Odin is his Giant form(this is the whole fight) Earlier in the issue,Loki was using attacks and fakes of his image to buy time.ThenOdin was released from his icy prison,and the Asgardian trio were driving Surtur back from the Eternal Flame.Surtur attempted to cut through the ground and connect the fires of Muspelheim with the energies of the Etrnals flame.That was delayed at first.And then thwarted.Finally,what you see below: (Thor #353)
