Ok here it is; this was quite popular at my old forums and I hope to bring that entertainment to this scene!
I'll make this as quick as I can: this is largely based on text-based role-playing, all rules rely primarily upon common sense and any misbehaiviour or unfair play is to be reported to myself or the appropriate forum moderator.
The idea is that you create a gerneral star wars character, not necessarily a jedi or sith, try using a 'normal' star Wars character as well. you each get one character only and that character is then placed immediately into the duelling arena where it will be a tournament-style except there are no 'knock-outs'. If you make it to the top of the list, you must defend that title as refusing a duel means that they take your place and you theirs and so on and ect...
Basically the characters are like this, you get a template where you allocate skills and atributes, there is no skill development though, you reamin the same character you started with.
-Strength (Power of attacks)
-Dexterity & Agility (general fighting ability)
-Stamina (amount of damage can be taken)
-Fortitude (amount of resistance to damage)
-Intelligence (ability to predict attacks and make counter attacks)
-Force Ability (your level of strength with the force)
-Weapon Skill (Close combat)
-Ballistic Skill (Shooting)
-Problem Solving (allows showy moves and elaborate evades.)
-Reflexes (Increases your defense)
each person will get 20 points to spend on abilities though alot of this will be detirmined by the good-judgement of the players. if a duel does not reflect the ability of the character, I.E: a character who always makes sound attacks with a lightsabre, even though they spent no points on weapon skill.
you will also be able to purchase certain equipment and items, two choices may be made with no chance for choosing again once allocated.
the choices are as follows:
Weapons...
-Lightsabre (Generally the standard weapon for Jedi and Sith while quite unweildy for non-force users. two lightsabre may be weilded as a pair or combined to form a sabre-staff, taking up two equipment choices.)
-Cortosis sword (The only close combat weapon that can stand up to the searing bite of a lightsabre is made of sturdy cortosis, used by non-force users. two cortosis swords may be weilded as a pair or combined to form a double-ended sword, taking up two equipment choices.)
-Blaster rifle (The space-farer's best friend, can put up a decent cyclic-rate of fire with decent damage)
-Shock-rifle (A nasty weapon that uses raw impact ability to flatten opponents, otherwise does little damage and used as a stun weapon)
Armor...
Body armor (Increases resistance to damage, 1+ point to fortitude, while reflexes, dexterity & Agility each suffer a -1)
Additional...
Health stimulant - 2 doses (can recover up to half of the maximum health lost, if used more than once in a short space of time it may render the user dizzy, used three times can knock most people out.)
Midi-clorian stimulant - 1 dose (increases Force Ability by two points for one turn, not to be used more than once per battle, death may occur)
Small Personal shield (once bought, only used for one battle, using up the equipment choice and may not be bought twice, once it takes enough logical damage, the weak sheild fails and the battle continues normally)

Skin: Dark Slate grey
Dress: KOTOR Dark Jedi Robes with very large cloak that wraps largely around her shoulders.
How? How do I buy equipment and weapons? Do I earn money, or is that simply equipment I pick from the start and carry on with?
Another question. If I am currently in no duel and no one is available for me to duel (Or several is incapable or unwilling to duel eachother for different reasons- Example: Two just fought)
Will there be an out of arena thread or something simular for that character?
yeah, you just chose from that menu there and pick up to a max of three things... And I'll set up an additional 'sub-story' thread for non-combat role-playing...
