There were some scenes in Spider-Man 3 that were absolutely terrible (like the jazz-club fiasco), but other than that, I thought it was great. Just a fun flick.
I thought the movie was just paced really wierd. At first it was all action while simultaneously developing 3 plots, and I kept thinking "Wow, this movie is going way to fast, trying to do too many things at once." But then the second half of the movie was the exact opposite. I wouldnt have minded the jazz club scene if they hadnt dragged out the whole angsty Peter Parker bit for so long
Well the thing is, "angsty" Peter shouldn't have even been that way. I mean, in the comics and stuff, it was a pretty serious topic in which Peter was really becoming like, evil and stuff. I mean, I was cracking up during some of the scenes... but that was only because they were so terrible.
And yeah, it was paced strangely. Lots of sequels and movies in general have been trying to cram in too many plots lately.
Maybe not my favorite from the trilogy, but I still liked it.
well SM3 has set a high bar for POTC to beat. Although SP3 was an overall let down to me. Sure the action was good, but the story was not good and there were just too many stupid pointless scenes. The story needed better focus.
Please.I can go into all kinds of details why the first two were so horrible, especially the first one.The second wasnt too bad,it did have some amazing special effects in it that are really cool to watch and it was much more loyal to the comicbook with not near as many cheesy lines, but the first one not only looked like it was written by a 5 year old but other than the oscorp building, the special effects were cheesy as hell which is the lone saving grace for the second one.I have no doubt whatsoever this third one is every bit as horrible as the first one was since you could tell by the trailers the first one would be horrible, the second one,it looked like a great movie from the trailers and it was much better, this one like the first one,the trailers look horrible and from the pattern here and everything I have heard about it,this one is obviously as horrible as that first god awful one.

Yeah, give it a rest Mr Parker, by now its clear there was a divide in the reception of the Spiderman films, and in my opinion, it has nothing to do with organic webs.
I'll still on for Pirates beating Spidey at the box office though.
Wow. As of now the poll is split down the middle 25 to 25 as of this writing.
Amazing. So that can mean that people really just down know, even given the concrete historical data based on how the 2 performed in the box office, in the past.

that doesnt always hold up, look at the 3 Spider man movies they arnt all that close in terms of box office numbers. Also SM3 had help of there being no competition at all.
