the kooks
wow, i never heard this band before. i have to say there really good. for me its hard to find new bands--so i go by magazine recommendations. i think there from england?, but i dont anything about them.

Oh man, I literally cannot stand them. One of the most unutterably bland bands on the planet. There's a hell of a lot of crappy throwback ''indie'' rock coming out at the moment, and The Kooks are just the latest poster boys for it.
And yeah, they're English.

They have some nice songs, some poorer songs and some plain crap ones. They are your better than average indie band, but then again the average water mark for your average indie band is pretty low. Alright live, too.
