feardotcom and the ring to have striking similarities, its obvious that one copied the other, its sad that in the horror genre there hasnt been a creative idea in over a decade.

ooh now that i think about it, i think feardotcom copied the Ring. because the Ring was written long ago by Suzuki in Japan, and was a already a movie there.. am i right?
have you seen both those movies? are they actually really similar?
i dunno if u'd call blair witch horror, but that was a creative idea when it came out ..
well rockxon, u'll find out in 13 days won't u? lol. i mite too. maybe a slight bit later. i'm usually not very good at watching a movie the day it comes out

blair witches idea isnt as creative as many people think, it was an idea taht was used about 20 years before it came out in cannibal holocaust. its just blair witch hit it really big so many people thought it was unique. it is a great movie though. best horror movie of the past 10 years probably.

these film makers go to film a documentary on cannibals, then all hell breaks loose as they taunt and torture the cannibals to get good scenes for their documentary.
