So far from this thread Storm's Air Attacks nullifies anything Magneto can do.

I think you mean ONCE. And great way to counter my other points, 2damnloud. Your KMC's definition of a fantastic debater.

However, speaking from a realistic standpoint, over the years Magneto has beaten her... what? 5 times? At least?

Even though you'll never openly admit it, in your heart you know Storm can't beat Magneto. Not now, not ever. smile

Erik for the win 10/10.

Umm... what happened to tearing her up with metal fragments? The normal... what, 8 foot? shield would give him at least 5 minutes. That's long enough to fire shards into Storm at hypersonic speeds.

Solar wind is electrically charged gas, or plasma, not radiation.

Um, Storm can multitask. She would be safely behind the pressure dome while putting a strain on him with a multiple vortex tornado.

It's radiation no expression

Saying that doesn't make it true.

There's no such thing as a multiple vortex tornado unless you mean it splits off at one point like a hydra, but that still means Magneto would only be in one vortex at any given time.

And do you have proof that a "pressure dome" will stop Magneto from simply pushing the metal scraps through?

solar wind
–noun
an emanation from the sun's corona consisting of a flow of charged particles, mainly electrons and protons, that interacts with the magnetic field of the earth and other planetary bodies.

That's plasma. High end plasma but plasma none the less.

Radiation as used in physics, is energy in the form of waves or particles. There are two distinct types of radiation, ionizing radiation and non-ionizing radiation. Various sub-types of radiation may also be distinguished, dependent upon the type of the emission source, the wavelength, the energy, the carrier, etc. The most common use of the word "radiation" refers to ionizing radiation. Ionizing radiation has enough energy to ionize atoms or molecules while non-ionizing radiation does not. Radioactive material is a physical material that emits radiation, or energy.

Solar wind is Alpha RADIATION.

Fine, Storm technically can control Alpha radiation, but it's not in the same group as microwaves. Has she ever directly controlled microwaves?

Either way, it doesn't prevent her from being skewered int he head

To think about it, Storm has at one point or the the other manipulated every kind of radiatio there is on LARGE scale.--Alpah, Beta, Gamma

The surface of the sun is much cooler than the core, but it is still tremendously hot by our standards—about 6,000 degrees centigrade. Partly because of this high temperature, gas from the sun is continually driven off into space; we call this the solar wind. The solar wind is simply protons (the nuclei of hydrogen atoms), neutrons, electrons, and alpha particles (the nuclei of helium atoms)—the same materials the sun is made of—that travel through space at velocities of hundreds of kilometers per second, and some of this solar wind reaches the Earth as one component of cosmic radiation (the rest of cosmic radiation comes from outside the solar system and is called galactic cosmic rays, or GCRs). The Earth’s magnetic field helps to shield us from much of the sun’s radiation, funneling the electrons, protons, and alpha particle into radiation belts that surround our planet instead of letting them reach the ground. And our atmosphere provides fairly substantial shielding too against the cosmic rays that penetrate the magnetic field.

The particles emitted during a solar flare are high-energy hydrogen and helium atoms that have had all of their electrons removed. But alpha radiation is high-energy helium nuclei and hydrogen nuclei are simply protons. Both of these are forms of radiation, as are the electrons (beta radiation) and neutrons found within the gas. In other words, a solar flare is a huge emission of radiation from the sun, and if it’s aimed at the Earth, we will experience higher levels of radiation because of this.

Happy Dance

So that would be a no?

Also look up "superwave" it relates to Gamma Rays in the Galactic core.

Realistically, from an objective point of view, Storm is>>>>>>>>>>Than Mangeto.

Magnetos VER VERY powerful, but delving into Ororo's power makes him look third rate.

If Storm is given he FULL credit she's >>>>> Mags.

We've seen all we can see from Magneto.

We've just scratched the surface with Storm.

The nautre of her abilities, gives her INFINITE power.

Alright, I go for the "Magneto strangles her with his hat" method.

Fires his hat at her at supersonic speeds while forming it into a thin strip. If she can get a "pressure field" up in time, fine, whatever. Even if it molecularizes it, he reforms it as a collar around her neck and constricts it. Total time to accomplish: 3 seconds at most. Storm stays conscious for maybe 4 seconds tops as the blood flow is cut off to her brain.
