How is "You're cursed with immortality.", anywhere near as absurd as Daken's third claw being able to negate powers for no justifiable reason?
Two arcs in the making, so if we assume he's been in more then four arcs, and only two contained that power...then it's the minority isn't it? They're working with the character, it's still new. If we stuck with originals, Superman wouldn't even be able to fly.
What makes you so arrogant as to think Bendis didn't read up on Daken? Maybe he did and just decided it wasn't something he agreed with? You don't hear Daniel Way complaining.
Stop assuming you know more about Marvel and that these writers somehow miss things just because they don't include them.
Daniel Way isn't writing Deadpool how I'd like him to. It doesn't mean he hasn't read The Circle Chase. It means he probably has and just doesn't want to write him like that.
I never saw him as a poor man's Wolverine or a roidrage individual at all, to be honest.
I thought he was good in Dark X-Men.
Sure, it doesn't make the most sense. I see what you're saying. You're saying that if they didn't wanna use the claw, they didn't have to and they could have left it hidden. However, they exposed it and just ignored the ability? Yes, that'd probably be a bit of a pisser.
However, if that's JUST appearances or cameos, why worry? The established character will always win through in the end.
just be glad that writers also forget that if daken is caught by superhumanly strong charecters i.e class 40+ gargan (cyber's strength upwards) he'd be snapped in two ...

Anti venom appears to have his brains blown to bits by punisher(who is trying hard to kill him) & a shotgun… not the case when his suit spits out the shell fragments from his head,
Venom also is unphased by punisher’s arsenal & shows good reflexes as he catches the projectile shield and shows he could have pulled the trigger on castle as his tentacle sneaks up and disarms frank:

Too early I guess, but anti-venom is the same symbiote Brock originally had. It was always a part of him. The only difference, now its effected by Negative's power. Either way Brock is in controle. Remember that book when Eddie (after selling the symbiote) was commanded by it to kill Aunt May while she's in a hospital. He didn't do it, and said that he's in charge of the alien.
I didn't think it was the original Venom symbiote, I thought it was created from what was left over. I also thought Eddie went crazy when the "symbiote" told him to kill Aunt May, as he was near death. I'm just confused.

Hm.maybe you're right. He does call himself "me" not "we" so... Its just I always thought that the hospital story was an attempt to make up for the old book where Venom symbiote suddenly took control over Eddie instead of being controled by him (long ago Venom was the only syimbiote that was willing to serve its host instead of controling it)
Him curing the girl and being in utter denial that shes using or him being flabbergasted that frank tried to kill him. The fact that frank was able to talk him into retracting the symbiote and like an ignorant child he asks him , "You uh promise not to kill be Right"? He seems like a neutered dog in the new series.
Well he had to retract the symbiote because they had to show their ids and Frank took advantage of that. But yeah, him trusting the girl so much is kinda wrong.
He used to avoid retracting the symbiote by just make it become clothes and forming a hat to guard his face. Or he could just blend in with the environment and not be seen at all. He knows how much of a homicidal killer Frank is, any other version would have spared Frank after the first attempt and threatened to rip his heart out if he tried again. Even when he was the "Lethal Protector" Frank wouldn't have dared try what he tried without risk of having his spleen removed.
