Also: Jews don't violate scripture, the idea that homosexuality is a sin requires basing one's entire faith on about three (rather vague) verses out of thousands, I've never been clear on what Atheism actually does that is wrong.

You aren't really too clear on my religious beliefs. I'm not an atheist, so I can't really say I'm being an atheist bigot. As for confrontation, I totally believe that it does not enter the equation, as I doubt an actual atheist would waste his time by getting up on sunday morning, getting dressed and riding or driving to your church to listen to it's pastor and members debate a book a god, in which he does not believe, wrote. Perhaps there are people in your congregation that argue scripture, but if they got up and went to church, I doubt they're actual atheists. Maybe just agnostics.

If the parent believes it to be true than it is the truth to them just as you believe there is a God this is true to you and not true to me and so how is a child supposed to tell the difference when adults can not?

And what he says over and over again is something his religion professes to be a mandate, i.e. preaching to others and convert them to a position where they are made to realize their very own existence is secondary to the intentions of their own god is central to their askewed notion of god. Preaching and demanding of others is the practically non-existenant line between christianity and islam and every other despised perspective of every adherent of every other organized religion.
People argue the morals and perspective and name and purpose, but they are too willingly stupid to realize that "I have no ****ing idea" is a valid perspective on a god that they've been told we can't understand actually has rules, limit, perspective or demands or purpose. It is a theory of the possible explanation of how life evolves from one species to another, it is supposed to be tested and proven until a BETTER explanation can be proven to be a better theory. By trying to disprove evaluation doesn’t prove ID, how about you try and prove ID first. I have never seen any science to try and prove ID only that you try and disprove all other theories thinking that this will prove yours which is complete and utter BS.
