KMC Forums - some pokey poems :P

I had a post on here before but i've not been around for a while... :P here's something new(ish) and good big grin

i think

reaching out

simple, there is not up or down

direction without thought i reach beyond

take hold of simple rhythm, daily need

i touch the void between you and me

an empty hole of the life and death

in that, i reach across the space

and find the bitterness of this winter

i leave you nothing but a cold light

a gentle breeze this frozen day

My Silent
If it ever was to be, sweet irony.
That here upon the dust I lay my head.
The sand filled nights of vigil watch,
And all across the yellow burning stretch,
My silent stillness lasts.

If it ever was found, such glory heard.
Such simple love as melody blown dust.
In the burning of each day, where I am,
In the wonder of the starry chill of night,
My silent watchful gaze.

If there ever could be shown such adoring love.
Of nature and my place, the world so tough
Does burn my heart and leave me dry alone
In the morning of a rainfall true and clear,
My silent rejoicing corpse.
