-El Guapo, starting an affair, is nervous and has been very careful to cover his tracks... but he doesn't notice Doop sneakily and silently spying on him with his video camera.
-Doop built by himself something of a very secret safehouse deep within X-Statix Tower. Supposedly it is for his relatives to sleep in when they visit, but it is suspected he does not sleep, and it is later revealed Doop is a US Gov't creation, so he doubtfully has any relatives.
-Doop's brain stops Venus Dee Milo from being able to teleport. Also, it is stated Doop might be manipulating the Russians who captured him, seeing as they seem to worship him.
-The team realizes they don't know who or what Doop is... jsut that he breaks many more laws of physics then even Dead Girl, and that he's the oldest member of X-Statix. They realize they can't take down Doop's machine by themselves, so they go for help.
X-Statix #22
-Captain America (who appears to know quite a bit about Doop, I believe he was connected to Cap's super soldier experiments) states that Doop has the latent power to destroy the world
I'll post the scans with the play-by-play. Keep in mind, this is a weakened Doop (at first he could barely function with his butt-brain, which he's running on now, and it's almost out of juice. So it's pretty safe to safe he's not as perky as usual. Also, this is probably the closest to bloodlusted that he's been in all his appearances... in fact, probably only the third time or so that he's put any effort into a fight.
And again, as I posted above, this is Doop less than his normal power level, which is in fact only a fraction of his overall power.
