Well, both are immortal. But - Backlash has superior fighting experience to Wolverine- 3000 years vs 150 years. Experience advantage is so often used as Wolvie's trump card...funny, but now it plays against him.
Fight in the darkness gives some edge to Wolvie, but nothing to change the battle dramatically in his favour.
Being superior strategist, Marc can use such Wolvie's traits as his berserker rage to his advantage.
So... I see Backlash winning that 6/10
