G4's "Attack of the Show" did have something on Halo Wars today, but I wasn't really paying attention b/c I'm not a fan of Halo so I can't really tell you anything.
I dont think people should mind that they're isnt any big games coming out next year (or atleast until after summer 08) because they'll probalby still playing all the ****ing games being released this fall.
I own 360, Wii, PC, and a DS and I have no idea what game to get first.
Madden, Bioshock, Metriod Prime 3, Mario Galaxy, Zelda DS, Mass Effect, GTA4, Halo 3, Compay Of Heroes EXP Pack, Call of Duty 4, Area 51 Blacksite, Unreal Tournment 3, Half Life Episode 2 with Portal and TF2 (yah!!!!), Super Smash Bros Brawl, Kane & Lynch.....and thats all of the top of my head. I assume they'res more.
Ill be playing all these until atleast mid March of next year. Why cant these bastards release some games in the summer. Only 1 game has caught my interest since I dont know when, and that was the Darkness.
They're were some new games announced. They just werent talked about.
The thing is is that alot of the games shown and are going to be released this fall havnt been really looked at. Games like Assassins Creed, Crysis, and others havnt been played yet. That's why I think most companies are showing those games.

Well yeah, I know some new games were announced for this year, but nothing special and pretty much nothing new for 2008. We've seen Assassins Creed and Crysis played in front of us and we've known about these 2 games for ages along with others. They really didn't have that BIG SURPRISE or some GREAT UNKNOWN GAME.
We pretty much were aware of almost everything that was shown.
They're is rarely any unknown that gets announced at E3. Somewhere, somebody knows that they're is a game being made. With all the other major game conferences, its happens on on a occassion that a big game gets announced at E3.
I think companies showed games that everybody wanted to know about and see actually footage instead of a crappy trailer and an a screenshot.
Remember, E3 is not for the fans, its for the press. That's why its there. We saw Killzone 2 finally played, with saw a bunch of other games finally played.

Some seem to be making a big deal about how good it looks but in my opinion it isn't anything special and it doesn't match up to the fake trailer. It's much darker and grittier and muddier.
