Indeed Cabal is a damn good game. It has a variety of classes. Great combat and PvP. The skills are just cool and each player gets their own story. The only downside to it is you have to do alot of quest where you kill mass amounts of monsters.
It is just as true as you finding WoW a second rate game.
A game without a story, or with a poorly thought up, rushed story is a bad game. I myself do not understand how anyone manage to stick with a game that has a story which is "a drag"
The story makes the game. And Warcraft's story is just amazing.
^ That is the case with most MMOs
That and their shitastically slow gameplay that gets repetitive and downright boring after a while.
I'm just waiting for the time when technology gets so awesome that we can play MMOs like any other action game.
Can you imagine an MMO with, say, the God of
War gaming engine?
I never said WoW is bad, just saying its not the best game and is certainly not worth paying over $150+ a year....in my opinion. But hey, you guys can waste your money. Your parent probably pay for it, IF you still live with them. I just cant take WoW seriously. Id rather use my money for some new blazers, or adidas. Thats a smart investment to me.
i played maybe 2 hours this week, because i actually have to work and stuff to have a computer and pay rent stuff. not all wow players are out of shape and only play wow...
You did say there are way better games than WoW. I didn't say you think WoW is bad, just that you consider it 2nd rate, which you do.
If you make 43428$ a year, live in an apartment that has good rent, and you live by yourself, where is the harm in spending 150$ a year on something you enjoy doing? If you want to be cost effective (Cheap), you can remove one movie night per month and you can afford World of Warcraft.
I'm sorry, I usually respect all opinions and peoples right to say them, but I don't think you thought this post through. World of Warcraft is a cheaper hobby than sports, reading books or renting the occasional movie.
This post of yours is ignorant and uncalled for. What kind of people do you think World of Warcraft players are? No-Life losers that still live with their mother and doesn't have a job?
Yet another ignorant statement. How can you give such a suggestions? More prejudice on WoW players? I know WoW players that not only exercise, but live prosperous social lives, and stay in good mental as well as physical health.
So please, for your own sake, don't be prejudice towards one group of people (In this case WoW players). Just because someone is "stupid" enough to pay for a 2nd rate game, does not mean they have no lives and will sit by their computer all day long.

It is an interesting topic of discussion, so I do not see why it should get dropped. Many seem to think differently about WoW players in light of all other gamers. I hear it all the time:
- So, what games do you play?
- World of Warcraft
- ... Oh ... That ... Sigh
