The PS3 gets Vader, sweet! Vader is definitely much more badass. Although I do also want Yoda, but I'm glad I get Vader cause I'd take him over Yoda any day. Hopefully though, both PS3 and 360 owners will eventually get both characters via DLC.
That would be my guess. Each system version starts with one, and the other will be available later. Everybody gets everything eventually, and each has exclusive incentive at launch.

Indeed. And if it works out well I'd like to see a Star Wars fighting game based on the SC4 engine. That would be pretty cool. Cause I gotta say that both Vader and Yoda look amazing. Yoda particularly looks awesome, it looks exactly like the CGI Yoda they used in the movies. I'm sure Lucasfilm gave them the models for both Vader and Yoda which is why they both look really really good.

Very very cool.
I wonder if we can be able to use the Force, in the trailer Yoda seem to stop someones Axe with the Force (possibly Azeroths axe?).
Oh yes, didn't see the trailer anywhere here: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/29535.html
EDIT:
Awwww, just found out they decided to screw everything up as well. Yoda is X-Box 360 exclusive and Vader is PS3 exclusive....
Silly decision.
Well, the 360 is green and the PS3 is black.
Hmmm. I wanna see the expression on Nightmare's face when he sees Yoda or DV.

Silly decision. Mitsurugi locking his katana with Vader's lightsaber in a cutscene.
Retardation to the max.
Pretty stupid for Namco's producer to not include Dante as a guest character, especially after considering to put him in SC3 before he decided not to.

It's probably made up of Cortosis or whatever the swords in KotOR were made of.

No it isnt made of Cortosis. Its a video game and its all in good fun, it doesn't have to make perfect sense in this context. Yes Yoda and Vader would realistically pwn everyone, and yes their lightsabers would make butter out of mostly every weapon the SC characters use, but who cares, its just a funny yet cool little feature having them in the game.

Would've been a better idea to include Dante and Ryu Hayabusa.
But Vader and Yoda > Ryu Hayabusa and Dante

Also, blocking a lightsaber is no different then blocking beams with a sword or using a dagger to parry an exe..

Given the dialouge of the game's trailers, there may not be a five.

But Vader and Yoda > Ryu Hayabusa and Dante Even Super Sparda Dante from DMC2? Doubt it. At the moment I believe Quicksilver + Power and abilities of Sparda pwn either one of the two.

Not necessarily.
It isn't known exactly what those beams are made of.
For all we know they could be manipulated spirit energy or some form of weaker plasma (which don't melt swords).
And it's quite possible to block an ax with a dagger with appropriate strength.

I'd definitely choose the XBOX360 Version over the Playstation 3 Version just for Yoda.
That's if I was even getting this game. I'm not so moot point. Not a Star Wars Fan or Soul Calibur fan in particular. Soul Calibur II was enough for me. For all of the hype, it was rather disappointing.
With that said, seeing the trailer and getting to the point where you hear the Ominous Breathing, in which I knew was Darth Vader right away, was rather exhilarating for some reason. Just the way they put together I guess.

Not necessarily.

Doesn't matter. A sword is too thin to block a beam, or even a bullet.

It's also apparently quite possible to block a lightsaber with a sword.

Mitsurugi was shown blocking a bullet from close range with his katana in the SC2 intro, not that there aren't swords thicker and more dense than katanas (which are some of the lightest weapons in SC).
And someone please explain how a lightsaber can be blocked my stainless steel.

I can see how it's possible, if say, the sword was bullet-proof.
True. Mitsurugi's sword...has no magical properties whatsoever though, and he locked with Vader in a cutscene...

Maybe when Vader got transformed to the past, his Lightsaber was just reduced to being a stun-baton.
