No, but those are some of the best items in the game. What more could you want? I mean, what kind of items are you looking/aiming for? Well, there are some rare ones that can be acquired in the Tower of Lost Souls, especially in Descending mode, which can be unlocked after you get past the 20th floor in Ascending.
Ah yeah, that's basically what I'm looking for. The rare shit from the tower. I'm pretty sure I unlocked all the ultimates weapons, since I beat it with everyone, yet my items to put on my custom characters seem lacking.
Ah, okay. I see what ya mean. I beat Story mode with everyone as well, and was wondering why I didn't have as many options for customizing my character as I thought there'd be. I still have yet to get that rare stuff too because I can't get past the 20th floor, since one of the characters there has both Impact Heal and some super Auto Grapple Break. It's ridiculous.
And I just found out that the "S" skills (Nullify Ring Out S, Grapple Break S, etc.) are for the computer/AI-only. They easily surpass the "A" version of those skills since Nullifty Ring Out S for instance, gives them a 100% chance of not falling out of the ring.
ugh No wonder they seemed so much cheaper after awhile.
To be honest, I have no idea as to where it ends, but I do know that Descend is unlocked after you get past the 20th floor, which I did. Descend is where you get to acquire most of the rare items anyway, so I doubt I'll be playing Ascend again for awhile.
But, does anyone know like at what point do you get to choose stages onn Ascend. When you Descend, you get to choose a set of three floors to challenge, while the Ascend just seems like survival.
Where'd you hear you could choose stages on Ascend at one point? Because I never knew that.
Meh. In any case, I think I just fell in love with the recoloring feature in this game. Recolored cute little Xianghua as purple and black, recolored my custom characters' green cape as a red one, and gave Lizardman a little more light blue, red, and black.
Dudes, I'm having trouble understanding how to assign skills to custom characters. It seems like, other than what the weapon already comes with, I can't assign squat, any tips?
You have a bunch of stats - Boost, Impact etc. All the armor and weapons affect those stats. If you're wearing armor and weapons that give you say 50 Boost stats, but 0 Impact stats, then you can't buy any skills that use Impact, and you can only buy skills that use up to 50 Boost stats. So you have to take notice what stats each armor piece gives you, and also balance the attack/defence/health as well.
Ah, thank you. I figured it out, but it's hard to know what's gonna work and what won't since the Tower thingy is kickin' my ass. To the point of boredom.
lol Same here.. I got to floor 39 on Ascend not too long ago, got past floor 10 or so on Descend, and now my incentive to keep progressing further on this has kinda dropped.
I barely play SC 4 cuz of my schedule, but it just seems like too much. Some of the honors are hard to get, haha.
