i've no problem with that, though i havent read countdown in a while, so my memory of the fight is a bit sketchy... the zoom thing, though... she didn't exactly beat him in a fist fight, she used the lasso, iirc...
i know its still a win, but i just hope nobody's taking it to mean she beat him in some kind of slugfest...
She couldn't really beat him in an actual slug fest since she was blind. But she was taking his punches with the best of them. He didn't one shot her. And she was still fast enough to lasso him.
P.S. Didn't Wondy Own Captain Nazi even easier than BA did?
he wasn't exactly zooming around at the time, but i do agree with the bulk of what you're saying... diana can take a hell of a beating when she needs to...
Well we agree on that. If she can take a beating at the hands of Zoom, and you factor in her enormous reflex skill, which is backed up by her bracers and shields, it should be really tuff to actually take her down without some serious Superman level Speed and Strength. BA isn't as fast as superman. this I know and can prove. when the Flash needed to race to save the world, he used 4 other speedsters and superman. He called them the 5 fastest beings on the planet. Superman actually kept up pace with Jay garrick and the others. BA cannot keep up with Jay Garrick.

i'm of the opinion that neither of the marvel family's big boys is a match for supes in every category, so i'd love to see the scans if you have them...
Remember when Flash had to race the lil glowy guy that looked like sonic the hedge hog? He said that the five fastest beings on the planet besides himself included Superman. Superman was shown running and matching the other speedsters. Jay garrick and BA were shown running along side each other and BA couldn't keep up. His muscles began to strain. Superman is faster than the marvels. which maks sense. Since He's faster than Wondy and she and Cm get thier speed from the same god.
Jay was among the ones Superman was racing against. And They were all pushing themselves to the limit. In order to save the world they needed to give wally all of thier combined speed power. Superman was as fast as any of the other speedsters. he did not give out or get tired as Adam did. Adam couldn't keep up with jay.
they may have similar strength & speed stats, however durability is the deciding factor
durability-wise:
Black-Adam : essentially invulnerable (like Superman or Captain Marvel)
Wonder-woman : high durability but NOT invulnerable. she's highly resistant to blunt attacks, however a simply man-made blade or bullet can still kill her !!!
=> she's way more fragile than BA => easy win for BA
That's wrong. If he is on Superman's level then he shoul dbe stalemating him or even beating him sometimes. His not(from what I know). WW is almost on par with Superman in strenght, Speed, tactics. Superman is invulnerable, but she is too. She should be stalemate BA.
nono. she's helpless against slashing/piercing attacks. she HAS to dodge these
technically Black Adam like Captain Marvel is everything Superman would dream of becoming, a sort of super-Superman in a way (all the powers of a kryptonian minus the weaknesses)
the only reason Superman prevails is because he's the hero. in all the Superman vs Shazam fights however, supe's opponents are always shown as being roughly at the same level as he. he only has an edge because, again, he's the hero
u know, just like Buffy always finds a way to defeat vamps/demons even when they're stronger than her
durability is the key factor and WW's durability is leagues below Superman & shazam. a bullet or a sword can kill her - Supe & shazam on the other hand just shrug these off
