Yeah he did but eventually got taken out by Ronan who got messed up by the real SS later on.

Not that I'm condoning the use of feats from the Skrull, but if they were actually equal in power wouldn't it be something of a coin flip as to who won a fight between the two? And if the Skrull was ruthless while Surfer was pacifistic wouldn't that actually give him an edge?

What year was this comic (FF, I presume) published?

I believe this may be the first time the term "power cosmic" (as opposed to "cosmic power") is used (I think it preceeds Surfer's use of the term in SS vol 1, issue 2, where SS is blasting the giant alien robot...that was in 1968).
