When the team arrived in the Outback, I recall Storm cleaning off their headquarters with precision hurricane winds. She removed every piece of debris off the building with one huge wind without the building itself being touched by the wind.

The text doesn't really indicate, but they were not very close to each other.
Xavier was in New York looking for Magneto, and she was deep in the Morlock Tunnels.
Perhaps they were in two different parts of New York.
He was in psychic contact with her all night and I guess by their minds being focused on each other the weather around the professor manifested itself to represent the anxiety which Storm was suffering.
It was cool.

In X-Men: Black Sun issue 1, a demon had captured Kitty Pryde. Storm zapped and incinerated the demon with a lightning bolt while it was holding Kitty. Kitty did not even feel a static tickle owing to Ororo's profound control.

Storm gets sucked into interdimensional portal and ends up in another world. She tries to control local weather and accidently summons acid rain, so she has to create "windshiled" to protect her from that.
Storm and Cable (the version which was weakened by virus) confront Gene Nation members. They going to blow up a bomb (powerful enough that Cable doubts he can contain an explosion with his TK, so that's most probably not a grenade). Storm's hurricane winds take care of the damn thing, causing an entertaining firework.
Just browsed my collection of scans and decided to add something since I don't remember what actually is in that thread and what isn't. I didn't remember those scans being added, that's all.
